the lopsided second half and nature of these teams will make it so no one notices a historically terrible officiating performance
NBA is losing a lot of talent to retirement with no real pipeline to replace so we get this......
Pop would rather put Poeltl back out there with a turned ankle than give Luka some meanigful minutes even though he more than proved himself defensively![]()

Pop's ting bricks thinking the 3rd stringers are going to blow another big lead.![]()
Lonnie out here getting touchy on everybody...
Luka ain't seeing the floor for 3 games over that missed corner rotation
Solid W on the second half of a B2B. Let's hope the team keeps building on tonight's performance, and not yesterday's...
Our 3rd stringers always play like tbh![]()
IMO, Lonnie will probably take a paycut to stay here. Dude has enormous locker room chemistry with several players on the team. Dude just gave a 20 second hug to White and then was clutching Devin after. I was including this guy in trade proposals, but probably not likely to happen.![]()
Spurs win, Lamarcus Loser still pouting to find a team to play for. Good times!
2-1 without Aldridge and DeRozan.
Still better than watching Eubanks.
Maybe it was a good-bye type of hug, those tend to be the longest
Man, Vassell's efficiency...just a great player already.

I think the interview gives us a lot of insight for how the Spurs chooses their guys. Anticipating the effects of the pandemic on the NBA season, they sought out two players in the draft who were high character and knew they would get along with the folks on the team. I mean, it makes sense, the pandemic has tested a lot of relationships and even our mental health.
I think the interview clues us in that a big trade is unlikely because you would basically be introducing new people to a tight knit group and it will almost be impossible to form any rapport between teammates that way. We'll see.
More Vassell praise here:
Notice how he emphasizes character.
It's a huge indicator of what the Spurs will look for in the upcoming draft. Guys who are good people.
Was just kidding brother. Spurs are all about that culture. This is why for me, post deadline the team will be most interesting. Shackles will be off. No incentive to play guys who consistently under perform.
I agree that while a trade with Walker included is unlikely, the LMA situation has clouded the water somewhat.
Think to get any kind of useful return, somewhat of a prized asset (young player, pick) will have to be included.
Was this one of those postponed games we had?
Yep, was originally sched. on 17/2.
This is the first time I've heard Vassell give an interview and wow what an impressive guy. Totally fits the Spurs mold we've seen over the last ten years.
He's reminding me of Leonard during his initial run. Not sure if Vassell is a 1-done out of FSU but will be interesting to see his trajectory compared to Leonard's once his minutes increase.
20 something Turnovers and still managed to win the game.. Team defense was solid. Spurs controlled the game offensively .
On the road, back to back , young team with no main stars. its a good win
Over/under on Vassell starting a game at some point in the season? Great play tonight.
Lazy or disillusioned .... your call

Very true Dejounte! This damn pandemic ended my previous relationship even though being separated from her was tough for me too...eh it shows that she wasn't worth it anyway if she wasn't willing to get through this tough time for the both of us together...
you're acting like this is new. That has always been the Spurs M.O.
I am sorry to hear that, man. Things only get better from here.
