Because otherwise, it may dawn on us this season that Luka is probably not going to pan out, and although I was critical of the pick before, that's fine because no team can hit every pick, some will not become NBA players and the Spurs have hit on plenty others.

Not saying that based on him sitting out so far but it's obvious he's not a priority and at this point, maybe that explains KBD contract too.

They're literally playing four guards and a center. So yes, it is Forbes or one of the other guards. Unless Samanic plays the entire fourth quarter, his future on this team is in doubt.

I'd say it's becoming increasingly clear his future is in doubt.
It's alright. Spurs can't hit them all, and they have had a great track drafting. No team hits every pick... I think I am finding peace with him not panning out.

Tre was the more impressive of the two between he and Primo. Not to take away from Primo’s performance, but I can’t wait to see Tre in pre season. We’ve got a nice roster of talented guards who could potentially play off each other and give the offense different looks.
