well played. I'm proud of you.

It was entirely predictable that the same group of posters consistently screaming for a tank, would be the first to jump ship and stop watching whenever the Spurs actually came anywhere close to a tank. Just the way it goes with a spoiled fanbase like this one, tbh.
Chalk one more up in the L column, lads

They were the worst type of fans. They would become super emo after a loss despite the Spurs being on pace to win 60 plus games.
What makes you think those fans stopped watching?
For the record, I'm still watching this dumpster fire.
spurstalk has the guys who spend their lives complaining about the FO, and there's an even worse group, the idiots who complain about the guys who spend their lives complaining about the FO, the weird thing is, when they can finally ramble day after day about how well this franchise is run, they're annoyed that no one cares anymore to point out all the dumb decisions PATFO has made since 2017.
The lower number of posts per game thread, for once, and the generally less precise criticism from the "exhalers" regarding the team, players, FO, etc, which used to be more of a game-to-game basics and now is a regurgitation of "yeah the team sucks, fire Pop, trade everyone" after every three games or so. Interesting that you replied to me here, I hadn't seen you on the forum for a while now... Though the reply works perfectly to your argument, I definitely can't assume that every troll and hater has stopped watching just because they're not posting anymore [even though it's a clear sign of disengagement].
It's onanist of you to assume I spend close to as much time criticizing that group, as that group spends time criticizing the FO. But alas...![]()
what if you're new to the tank regiments? where and how does one categorize folks like me?
Hey, I'm no fan police, you can categorize yourself as you like. I'm a first-time tankee myself, because I didn't know the Spurs or the NBA existed the last time the franchise had to face such a path. I'll absolutely grant you naming rights on this budding group, I've never been good with naming things.
To be clear, it wasn't a critique of just any fan wanting for a tank, just a specific subgroup of them, which I don't think you're a part of afaik. Y'all know who y'all are...
The lower number of posts is directly proportional to the lack of excitement with the team, plain and simple, tbh... I still religiously watch the games, even plan to attend some, but this is a team with too many problems to just banter about "why is Matt Bonner getting minutes?"...
It's not restricted to FO haters either, if not for corporate tickets this team would be in Seattle or Vegas already, and it might still head there at some point.
I've always been here, I just moved to other areas like the Political forum, etc, which are way more interesting as far as trolling and/or discussion than talking about this team right now. What am I gonna post about? That I was spot on for I don't know how long now? Patting myself in the back is useless. Hopefully this (accidental?) tanking helps the team get what it needs, a solid pick and a foundation for the future.
pretty much this... what is to discuss about tbh ?
