2.5 seconds...Spurs 89 Lakers 84
Timmy at the line after foul by Mihm
Kobe long rt wing 3, no good, Odom gets reb. over Fin. Misses baseline Tim reb. and is pushed o/b. Tim goes to the line.
1st FT by Tim is long.2nd FT good 90-84.
Ball inbounded but it's over.
what a close game. odom was on fire, luckily kobe was not....
WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I win some serious VBookie cash.
thank GOD Timmy made those last 3 FTs
yeheyyyyyyy! WE won![]()
i think i lost my bookie by just 1 pt.
1 good qtr from Spurs, then 3 mediocre qtrs, and another ugly W.
November sucks.
Dammit Bryant, why not just 1 more point!??!?
Oh yeah, yay spurs...
Kobe I just lost 1000 vbookie, but I did save a bunch of money by switching my car insurance
( singing the blues)...My vbookie has left me....I feel so alone...My vbookie is gone..I think I'll drink any my blues, here at home....(insert harmonica sounds here)..
Oh yeah.....WE BEAT THE LAKERS!!!!!! whooo hooooo!!!!!
i was thinking the same thing too. COSTs me $200
it's okay we won the game.
Odom's 27pts 17 rbs is way better than ShaQ's last yr production in L.A.
only they lost BECAUSE KOBE MADE ONLY 2 PTS(?) IN THE 4TH
...compliments of Bruce Bowen, the Kobe stopper!
congrats Spurs!
Kobe 25 points on 33 shots. Manu 22 points on 14 shots.![]()
"they lost BECAUSE KOBE MADE ONLY 2 PTS(?) IN THE 4TH"
4th: Lakers 25, Spurs 20.
Kobeit makes me think that even if he tried, that he wouldn't know how to make his team better.
Lakers don't need a coach at all if they continue to use PLAN B(let kobe takeover)
Well the win is all that matters, but you would like to see more convincing victories.
I've said it before, and I'm sure I'll say it again before the year is over, but the Spurs seem to me to be playing exactly like the Pistons did last year after winning the Championship. They don't seem to bring it all game. They KNOW they can run on cruise control, and turn it on when they have to. It made it very frustrating last year for all Piston fans. The Championship hangover is in effect.
I'm still sure that the Spurs will be in the Finals (vs. the Pistons of course!) but it could be a very long year for the fans.
Interesting observations on the game stats:
Bynum has his career high in minutes, points and assists.
Sasha also has season highs in minutes and points.
Odom went off. Season high in points, and ties season high in rebounds.
Negative stats.......that seem to be a recurring problem;
16 turnovers (TP-4 TD-5)
< 60% on freethrows
Rasho in foul trouble. He may get more opportunities if he didn't ac ulate so many fouls.
In summary, a win is a win is a win is a win. Take it and move on. No need to and moan about anyones performance. It's a veteran team. Bad games will happen. Novemeber games do not a season make. As poorly as some performances have been, the team is still 11-3....not too shabby. All Spur fans should be happy with how things are going so far.
I guess he wouldnt know if he doesnt pass the ball. 0 assists for Kobe, what a ball hoggin loser.
lost v bookie by one point[B]
And Dallas loses in Milwaukee in OT. TJ Ford huge corner 3 and then Bogut super huge block on Terry at end.
