late in the fourth, Sochan dribbled the ball to him and THEN passed it to him. That created a double team from Sochan's man and it was a turnover.
You can't compete in today's NBA without shooting the three bro

The "TEAM" doesn't have a clue how to get Wemby open down low. Wemby doesn't either. I don't think I've seen an inside screen all year. Even when he's open, another Spur will streak past him bringing his defender and clogging it all up. Another coaching issue.
I've been saying this for weeks, but this game solidified it for me.
We are back for Tank 2.0.....so buckle up, boys and girls. There is no reason to win more game this season.
Embarrassing loss…at least Rockets also looked terrible.
at this rate, we are on pace to beat the 1973 Sixers record
Only 10 more Ls for the record!
Lakers (H)
Lakers (H)
Pelicans (H)
Bucks (A)
Bulls (A)
Mavericks (A)
Jazz (H)
Trail Blazers (A)
Trail Blazers (A)
Celtics (H)
Seven of those are guaranteed Ls. Only the Jazz/Blazers three-game stretch stands in the way of Gregg Charles Popovich's quest to become the tiest team in all of tendom.
Yes. The 2022 and 2021 draft were terrible. No help at all.
I don't wanna fall into that trap but these games are for sure testing my patience re Pop.
Ime benched Jalen Green for the second time in a week. At least he won’t tolerate play![]()
A team that can't defend nor shoot.... "Brian just keeps getting it Wright"![]()
Yeah, I've said that Pop would rather the team lose his way then win somebody else's. What's the fun in winning if the ideas aren't mine. I'd rather just lose if that's the case.
When did they stop auto-correcting words like "s@@t" in here? haha
What does Sochan do well? I knew his shortcomings on the offensive side but I thought he was going to be a menace on defense this year and he's not very good at all on that side of the ball either. Guess the silver lining is that he's only 20 but damn he hasn't improved at all during the offseason.
We did it Pop, 17 baby!!!
Sochan looks thoroughly over himself, too. What a successful season we having.
If you thought 17 straight was bad, you might want to buckle up for 27 straight![]()
"they played a great game" - Pop
He doesn't give a f. Just sucking up to players.
As someone above just said as well, it's also the players, but Pop is absolutely putting the players in a position to fail. A great coach is a great coach. A great coach could have this team playing SO much better.
Tbh, Spurs not hitting open shots or free throws is the main reason for the loss. On D, we actually had a game plan. Let down by poor rebounds. Like looking at this. 12% from three. 68% from the line and gave up 15 oreb. How was this game even slightly close?
He does well at shooting FT 1 handed.
I think his value now is probably One 2nd round pick after now stopping the PG experiment.
I think that was the Spurs best effort game and we look more of a team now. I'm worried that the loses just eat the teams morality.
They didn't play great D.
Houston sucked as bad as Spurs on Offense. Missed shots not because of great D...because they just f'ing missed shots too.
2005 Pop, who still won 59 with key players missing some time, would have these guys winning more games, obviously.
15 points, 18 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists tonight from Victor. I don't know what more could we possibly ask for from a rookie.
Too many turnovers. Too rushed. Terrible shooting. Low IQ plays and decision making over and over. All so frustrating. Defense is never set because of all the bricks.
Having said that, if they weren’t so awful at shooting, they’d be doing enough to win games. Spurs are simultaneously very far away and seemingly not that far.
