It would be cool for the Spurs to have enough respect for their fans to at least address the situation in some way. I get it, Pop and the Spurs want privacy. Even a vague, not really insightful, light hearted statement like this would be better than nothing:

What about my fake statement goes against keeping things in house? My fake statement says nothing that isn't already known while at least acknowledging that the teams fans even exist. Spurs fans really care about the Spurs and idolize Pop. For all the support the city and fanbase gives the team, it seems like they should at least address the situation casually, instead of the typical move where they just treat us like peons unworthy of their nobility.

Because he is smart. There is a reason why college educated vote democrat and uneducated vote republican. He proves that you can have a military background, be a motherf..er hard@ss and still vote correctly. I hope that he feels better, we can criticize some of his BB choices but his coach resume is one of the best and his politics just shows that he cares about people.

I’m sure pop through the years has maintained fiscal conservatism or respect for a smoothly flowing economy. But you don’t coach for 30 or so years and not see how society is stacked against minorities or how a system made up of the wealthy exploits people while morons like you defend against your own best interests.

Pop has had a front row seat from both sides of cultures and economic hardships you still can’t comprehend.

It would be nearly impossible to coach that many young black men that come from tough upbringings or economic strife and not come out with a clear understanding that this country lacks humanity and mostly at the hands of the wealthy.
