Stack played great. Mavs played great. Devin Harris and Josh Howard make them even tougher.
Sure, the Mavs could beat the Pistons in a seven game series. The Pistons could beat the Mavs in a seven game series as well.
Problem is Dallas won't meet Detroit in a seven game series this season. San Antonio still beats Dallas in the playoffs.

Dirk didn't get back, which led to Billups getting a bounce pass for a fast break layup.
I think Dirk pretty good. It's just Ben played pretty damn good defense on him. But he did committ some bad turnovers tonight.
Yeah, I don't care who didn't play for Dallas. KVH doubled his scoring average and Jerry Stackhouse played like Piston-Stack and Dallas still lost.

I agree. Stack and Van Horn shot 18-27 (67%) from the field and scored 43 points in a combined 63 minutes.
With Josh Howard, Stack and Van Horn do not get those minutes or as many touches and field goal attempts as they did. Those two really made this a great, close game.
Dirk is just getting into playoff shape
