I don't actually think either has a chance against Italy. I was talking second place only. However, with Totti recently back from injury... lets just say if there ever was a time for an upset, this would be it.
i watched Czechs at the last Euro, USA has a better chance surprising Italy.

No you shouldn't have.
Australia has one of the best coaches in the world so let's just wait and see what Guus has teached the socceroos.
I won't be all that surprised at all if we don't make it out of that group.
Lot's of world class players in there.
Our squad is very young and unexperienced.

I'm rooting for Brazil because I used to live there and want to support my friends there who are going to be basket cases when Tuesday arrives (when Brazil plays Croatia), but I think Argentina is going to be the dark horse of this compe ion, and could go very far in the tournament. They've been keeping a low profile and don't have all the pressure of the hype that Brazil has had, and they have a strong squad, with a brilliant player in Messi. (I feel like such a cradle-robber saying this, but damn that boy is cute.)
I'll also be rooting for the U.S., obviously, and am curious to see how far they can go. And for Trinidad and Tobago because a friend of mine is from there. But what I really want is a Brazil-Argentina final.![]()

hey, thats my line!![]()
now to decide where to watch the opening game - Slo, HTV, ORF, RTL, RAI...
I will watch it on HTV2, because Slo television SUCKS
Really? Why? You meant television or comentators?![]()
Sorry. I mean comentators.
HTV commentary is usualy quite good, providing that their team isn't involved...
I`m so excited right now.
The World Cup 2006 had just started.
And Germany just scored.
