that's something I strongly agree with.
The NBA is gonna have to make the foul limit 8 for next season, you can't expect a big man only picking up 5 safe fouls in 48 minutes...especially with the complete ticky-tack that is even considered a foul.
Basketball is a Sport.
Sports involve contact.
How is a sport that features 10 big athletes, running and jumping around in a limited space, not going to allow minor contact???
that's something I strongly agree with.
Right, let's change the game next year because the Spurs lost by one point tonight....
I don't usually about officiating, but there were some crazy calls there in the 4th. I'm sure in the grand scheme of things, there were a few phantom calls that went the Spurs way throughout the game too, but the 4th quarter the calls the Mavs were getting, I couldn't even figure out where the foul was on the replays. Very bad officiating all around. Refs should just let the players play the game in a close 4th quarter like that, they shouldn't have such a large influence on the outcome like they did.
They'll make it 8 for the rest of the league, except the Spurs will be allowed 4.

Dirk steps on Timmy's foot, Timmy fouls out![]()
Overcompensating for their Tahoes, no doubt.
Everyone arguing against the spurs is using this same, single BS call. How many BS calls went against the Spurs? About 20 times this amount.
Yes there were missed calls...but they went both ways...as mentioned before the Howard block of Manu that was clean and a foul was called. IMO the blocking foul that was called on Harris should have been a charge. There were bad calls both directions thats just the NBA. I for one seeing that Crawford was reffing the game almost penciled in a loss for this one because of the way he refs mavs games. And if you want to talk about bad calls you have to go back to the final possesion of game 1 when Bowen hacked Dirk for that matter Dirk was hacked everytime he drove the lane and didnt get calls. The only reason we had more free throws is because we took the ball to the lane more often...
Maybe instead of blaming the officials start worrying about turnovers and how to stop Devin Harris, who for the 2nd game in a row has lit the spurs up.
Start naming them...
No, let's change the game next year because I am constantly sickened by the officiating, no matter which teams are playing.
It's either we get real refs with a different mentality, or, we change the game.
How fun is it to watch an NBA game now a days??? The game has to be put on hold every 10 seconds, it's so boring. Basketball is becoming more closely related to football and baseball because they pause so ing much.
I have the game on tivo and can watch it in slo-mo. Why don't you write them all down and I'll come up with some for the Mavs. We'll compare, don't forget the no calls and the phantom fouls. I am dead serious.
I agree 100% something needs to be done about officiating. Every single NBA game has blown call after blown call. They need to have a system of acountability and rate the refs so that if your suckin it up you dont get to ref as many games or have to go through some sort of training. Also they should take the best rated officials and use them for the playoffs...kind of what Mark Cuban said they should do.
The games are pretty fun to watch when the Spurs win.
it depends on who is officiating the game, and also how much money they were paid to throw it.
See we can play this game back and forth all night long for both this game and game one but the outcome will still be the same...Game one Spurs 87-85, game three Mavs 104-103...nothing will change.
Rewatch the 4th quarter.
but if throwing a ball off some ones foot was lways going to be a reset of shot clock to 14 even if the player didn't actual kick it why have a shot clock at all all they have to do is throw it at your foot and get ball back with more time
tht said the spurs turining over ball at end of game lost it not the refs
why would pop draw up a play where we turn over the ball
I am still suprised by how many times stackhouse has been choking the end of games
DIRK DOES NOT GET HACKED WHEN HE GOES TO THE BASKET!!!!
I am so tired of people saying this ! What happens when Dirk goes to the basket( and this is about 90 percent of the time) is that Dirk runs full speed into the lane, trips over his own clumsy-ass feet, throws up a shot and hits the ground. Then he gets a bull foul-call because the only thing the refs can see is that he fell down.
That's because games are fun to watch when they are called fairly.
I dont see how any basketball fan could not be outraged at the biased officiating. We should not take this bull anymore. Demand a fair game!
so your saying that games are only called fairly when the spurs win...i see a small hole in your arguments then...
NO
SHUT THE UP ING IDIOT PUTTING WORDS IN OUR MOUTHS

sorry had to vent on idiot![]()
No, I'm saying that when games are fair, when it's decided by the players, the Spurs usually win.
Does the NBA have contact info? I would like to tell them what i think. Seems they make sure none of this is anywhere on the web.
