i'm gonna butt in... here's my two cents -
You should break up, even if you lie about why...tell her you didn't miss her while she was gone, then it'll be like your letting her down easy, "you just weren't that in to her" -(I didn't read the book)... Your relationship is only 6 months old - this should be the best, most exciting time, while she was gone, you should have been like not being able to wait to have your hands on each other & (you had your hands on someone else)....it's obviously not like that.
You've already ruined it by cheating, it will never be a good relationship if theres lying & cheating at the very beginning, right? If you stay with her, you risk getting both of yourselves in deeper, thus causing much more pain when the break up finally does come around, which, I guarantee you, it will.
