Either way we can still sign him, so why did we make TWO offers? And they are both MULTI-YEAR DEALS. What ever happened to the sign Mahinmi next year plan?
That was my thinking. RJ had the tools to become a decent starting big man... or so I thought.
You have to give multiyear deals. No one of any talent signs anything else.
We should forget about Mahinmi for the time being. He's nowhere near ready and, when he is, the FO will inexplicably keep him in Europe to sign the next generation of 3rd string center on the Denver Nuggets. (The board will explode with the right-minders despairing over the lack of 'touch' and those thrashing about vainly trying to defend this FO on past glories.)

It was the plan on fan boards, never the front office.
After all, it's been working that way for the rest of us . . .
So can we still sign Javtokas or not?
ian did only sign a one year contract overseas though
My prediction, Butler goes to the T Wolves in a S&T doubly screwing the Spurs.
It's more than highly unlikely.
And he'll sign another one next summer... and then another one the summer after, most likely...
