and guards didn't get enough open shots in the second half, because there was not enough player and ball movement. Slokar and Rasho finishing attacks from distance is not good tactics. They're not playing like team on offense, plain and simple. It's coach's fault, but there is nothing he can do about it now.

We were in 2 close games and fumbled in both, not because of great opposition, but due to our own mistakes. We were way up against Puerto Rico and almost blown it. The second half collapses, the inability to finish games are a big worry. There is something wrong with this team and when there's something wrong with the team it's coach's fault.

I don't hate Pipan nor do i think he's stupid, but i think he needs to be bashed, because i don't like the way this team plays. If you have a problem with me having my own thought and opinions, maybe you should see a shrink. (the apparent idea that you have that you know what i think or who i hate, would suggest so).

The fact that previous coaches sucked (btw you might check assistant coaches on those teams, before you start bringing history up), doesn't mean Pipan is genius.

I believe this team is a bit immature, but mostly uninspired on offense for big parts of the game. So when defense is working, we get a bit more y.

That happens when you do not know what do you want to be as a team. And I am convinced they do not know that yet. I am certain we should be in this phase about the time when we went to Singapur.

Since we are not in that phase but in freaking 1/8finals, I would love to see the Slovenia from Beograd once again. Now we need to concentrate on the 4th quarter like there is no other quarter available. We can take our team to the semis then, otherwise Turkey has our number.

Think, we got here on quality, without motivation, without the killer instinct. Now is the time for that ON button that Lakovic, Nachbar, Rasho, Beno and Brezec have in them. Sani should not be a cornerstone of this NT at this time of the tournament. Killer instinct or we are outa here.

And again...props to Pipan for gettin' us here. We have to praise the moment when we can say a NT was playing the USA. But now is a time for a whole new tempo.

As long as one team is successful, you have no right to bash its coach, plain and simple. This is about result, not about artistic impression.

Who cares. But it is true that if we played anti-lithuanian defense of Sagadin, China wouldn't have had a chance in getting close.

Both are legends of the sport in Slovenia, but we are here to make something. I'm hearing Pipan bashing and Sagadin bashing my whole life, but they both made good colleagues around Slovenia and are both a refference for the coaching in such a small club.

Pipan was in a small club and made Euroleague. Twice.
Both of them are smart and know basketball. Sagadin coached Olimpija and teached a whole lot of Slovenes on how to play NBA-like basketball. But this is NT and there is no place where you can make more respect than in this tournament. OK, maybe Olympics.

better gameplay leads to better results. It's about increasing your chances for win as much as you can. I'm sorry, but for me qualifying for WC is an average result and getting to the 2nd round is satisfying the minimum goal.

you know nothing about our national team - Zrinski was the coach in Turkey, not Sagadin. (and to make things clear: i actually hate Sagadin)
and to spell it out for you: Pipan was assistant coach in France, Turkey and Sweden.
