I mean close games can improve their execution down the stretch, but if we have too many of these, you know there are gonna be nights where we're gonna lose them by not having our head out of our ass in the first 3 quarters and tyrin to climb a mountain in the fourth

i don't mind that much. actually, i think it's a great change. it used to be the other way around. the spurs would be blowing teams out and then melt down in the fourth.

this team reminds me of some of the bulls teams in the 90s b/c they would sometimes coast during the games and turn it on all of a sudden and then lights out for the other team.

it is just the regular season and these games don't really mean much. the fact that the spurs are able to do this over and over again (dallas, houston, charlotte (hopefully)) is kind of reassuring.
