Umm.. Spurs fans are happy the Mavs lost because it put the Spurs closer to them. Follow the logic.

The Mavs have zero doubt they can beat the Spurs in the playoffs and would even prefer to play the Spurs over teams like the Lakers and Suns. In fact can the Mavs just beat the Spurs in 3 best of 7 seven series to get to the finals? I'd take that.

I don't know if Mavs fans can recall some of the ty games the Spurs played in the early part of the seasons of their Championship years. The Spurs always have bad stretches. If after the Rodeo Road trip and the trade deadline, the Spurs are still playing crappy (and I am the first to admit that right now, the Spurs aren't that good) then I will say the Mavs have a big advantage. Right now it's too early for me to write them off. I don't even know who is going to be here after the trade deadline.

Ummm I disagree with all do respect. The the Mavs matchup well against the Spurs 1st of all. The Mavs have the athletic advantage. The Spurs play a slower game where as the Suns run you to death and are tough to defend. Duncan is no where near a Kobe who can take over a game and beat you by himself. Pretty sure the Mavs would rather face the Spurs over the Lakers or Suns...

1) It keeps them from moving farther away in the standings.

My confused friend, no team cries more than the Spurs. Do you even watch them play? It's painful after every foul. Spurs fans should NEVER talking smack about whinning....your whole team and organization are a bunch of cry babies. Sad sad...this only makes you look silly.
