Manu needs to throw the lob off the backboard to himself on a fast break sometime. Preferably with a 20+ point lead. Just to see what shade Pop's face turns after witnessing that.
TD has been the receipient of the lob most often, so he's good enough at it. Elson, Barry, Finley, White, and Manu are all athletic enough...

They can get up there, but they aren't going to be making adustments on the ball if it's not a perfect pass. Guys like Kobe and VC can adjust to the ball in mid air if it's a little off target, and I don't see any of the Spurs you mentioned doing that. Therefore, that requires a perfect pass and as such isn't a very high percentage play when you have TP lobbing them off the backboard or a foot over the rim.
Pops Mensah-Bonsu > James White

Youve got to be kidding
When is someone going to post the Youtube of James White's dunk??

James White is a 100% career FT shooter, best in the league. He also shoots 75% career FG.
Hall of Fame.
that was when he was with the Pacers.
His career needs to go into the "4 corners" strategy to preserve these numbers.
We're playing NO next so we may see White again very soon.

Not sure if this has been posted but, it made me think of all of you!
Probably true. Although, don't take the Hornets for granted. They have beat the Rockets 3 times this year.
...but we did get our asses handed to us tonight.
Damn!!! I thought Sean Elliott was just being a huge Homer when he said:
or something similar to that.
I know he's not physically "big" enough, but can you imagine him once in a blue moon getting a rejection on someone like Yao with that freakish vertical?
uploading video to Youtube now... warning... its going to be crappy quality, just dont have the time to hook up to do it right since I have to go to work tomorrow.... just a cheapo digital recorder facing the TV when the dunk happens.
*edit* Youtube is processing right now, dont know how long it takes, first time I've uploaded a video to youtube...
anyway, heres the link for when it does become available
