You know the funniest thing about talking to other teams' fans about their perception of our team? Is that pretty much every time they knock on a player we think it's great (like Nenê, who does a lot of things defensively that do not show up on boxscores) and exalt players we hate.
T, Boykins is total crap... He was a liability on BOTH ends of the court, even when he was hot because for every point he scored the other guard would score 3x as much... He was a ballhog, his teamates hated him as the Denver Nuggets fans who actually cared about this team ...
Only pre teen boys and girls loved him... With the exception of George Karl and Kiki... We actually think he won them with his SNL's Mango ways...

Well Boykins was a matchup problem and the little er may not have made alot but he made "key" shots.
I can remember many times in Denver him making big threes to cut leads down or give them a lead.
And then, you'd post him up, three posessions in a row... Karl would refuse to take him out... Even on crunch time when we needed a stop... Seriously... How do you expect to win when you're defending with a 5'5" guard with the game on the line...

Whenever we'd play Dallas, they'd pick and roll until Earl was matched-up on Dirk. You could actually hear him laughing in his goofy German accent from one mile away. "HAHAhaha ahhh I make basket."

I don't know where you get this bad matchup stuff T-Park. If anything, we're a horrible match-up for them.
Bowen bothers Carmelo like no other. Tony has the speed to harass Iverson and to punish him for being so lax on defense. They can't shoot the 3 worth a piss so we can cheat in the lane a bit on D. They won't get their easy junk because we get back in transition. If they have to work for everything in half court, they're screwed.
On offense none of our big three will be intimidated by the thug tactics and we know the refs will knock that stuff out really early, particularly if past offenders like Evans or 'Melo are involved. They don't really have anyone who can guard Tony or Manu and the threes will be there all day against their scrambling, clumsy efforts on defense.
Should be fun. Ginobalding scares me though, I hate to say.
