Salvatore is such a bad ref he isn't smart enough to rig a game. But because of his tendencies, he makes the Mavs practically unbeatable.

his tendencies really helped us out in game 5 of the Finals last year.

I'm not convinced that the league would want the crybaby Mavs and their crybaby owner to win the series enough to force the calls their way, even though the Mavs got the benefit of them. It's part of playing aggressively at home, too. The Warriors didn't play very well, suddenly couldn't get rebounds and actually out-complained the Mavs so they weren't going to make friends with the officials. I'm really surprised that Davis lasted as long as he did. If they'd concentrated a little harder on playing instead of ing they might have had a chance to put a stranglehold on the series.

In a vacuum, you are on point. Here's the rub - Dirk, Terry, Harris, and Stack had been crying all night long. My God, Harris acted like a two year old and jumped up and down and kicked the court when he got his third foul, yet no technical.

Why is it okay for the Maverefs to kick and scream all night long about the calls, but when GS does it they've lost their composure and deserve to get four technicals dumped on them?

so in game 3 if both teams are aggressive but Golden State gets every call and nothing goes Dallas' way and Dirk & Howard get ejected in a questionable fashion, will you be on here again ing about how unfairly the game was called?

Can't answer for everyone, but my biggest issue is the bad calls, not the fact that the Mavs got them.

Do the research and point out these games in which Salvatore has referee'd to a 90% win rate and then we'll discuss whether or not the Mavs could get the win without having some fictional help from the officials. If he really is such a cheerleader for the Mavs as you believe, then why did he make those calls against the team in last year's Finals? I mean, if he's obviously on the Mavs payroll, he wouldn't have made those calls would he?

The Mavs have won over 80% of their games over the last 2 years so if we win 90% of our games in which Salvatore refs it's not a stretch now is it?

Now when Danny Crawford refs our games and we go 0 for 8 like we did last year then something is definitely up!

And Baron Davis deserved to be thrown out of the game because he was:
A. Standing near mid court
B. Clapping for 13 seconds in a row
C. At the refs, mocking them.
D. For a foul call against the Warriors.
E. Stupid move.

He is a stupid MF. Did he not learn anything from the Duncan Technical?

If you are going to mock the refs you have to go and sit down in a chair and discuss it with a team mate. There is a big difference in what Davis did and what Duncan did.

The warriors are an undisciplined band of thugs and they self destructed. They got what they deserved and they are going to get it 3 more times.

I don't understand why so many people are complaining about Davis' ejection. I expected him to get T'd up way before he finally got the second one. It seemed as though he wanted to get thrown out (which is very stupid by the way). He was very animated with his complaints, every single time.

I'm not sure what happened with Jackson, but he seriously needs to watch what he does. He had that crazy look in his eye...very much a loose cannon.

For being around here as long as you presumably have to have ac ulated such a post count, I have to wonder if you read posts or not. I can think of two people who NEVER complain about the officials or blame losses on officials and mock their fellow Spurs fans for doing those things who have commented on the bad officiating here - Kori and FWD. In the 2 years I've been here, they have never ed about the officiating in the game as a source of loss. They have analyzed calls, pointed out the bad calls that went our way, remained calm and placed the blame for stuff where it goes - back to the players for failure to adjust.

When they say it's bad - I trust that.

Additionally, when people refer to the Spurs not ing about the refs - they refer to the team, the coaches and the organization/owners. Those folks (with the exception of the Crawford incident) do not to the media about perceived injustices. They do not take counts and video to send to the league. Nobody's ever claimed that fans don't thinks things were unfair.

Nope, that would just even out last night's BS. Until that happens, the refs owe GS one. Once it gets evened up, after that point if the Mavs get hosed, yeah I'll call out whatever stripes make it happen.

Mavs season was on the line and they got giftwrapped calls until they couldn't lose the game anymore.

I let you off the hook when you pulled the refs don't affect the game card about Spurs vs Mavs last year because I couldn't rewatch the games and couldn't remember the series play for play, but for you to come in here and keep trying to pretend that you and your fairy world where the Mavs are simply the aggressors and all calls are earned is rediculous.

You have blinders on. You'd get a lot more respect from me if you could just admit you got some calls, but it's coming to the point where Mavs could literally shoot 75 fts and you'd just say they were driving tough the whole game.

You need to either join the rest of us humans that can witness human interaction and see things that happen or you need to go to the looney bin to get unbrainwashed.

what a terrible post, i never said anything which denied that the mavs don't get the benefit of some calls, learn to read...that goes for timvp as well. the point of my post is that timvp is always ing about mavs and the calls they get due to certain refs, load of crap. oh but when the spurs get the an inordinate amount of calls it's because they drive to the lane or because the other team doesn't deserve them or some other nonsense. sure we get the benefit of calls, i'm not denying that...so do the spurs, so do the heat, so do a lot of the better teams. spurs weren't jobbed in last year's matchup against the mavs, it's just a poor excuse for the guys that didn't step up and help duncan out. same goes for the mavs in the heat series. oh, and stop trying to be erudite with all this human interaction/orwellian b.s., save that for buffet time at the golden corral
