Yet if Kobe tried this (and he has before) nobody has a problem with it.
The Lakers after Game 4 -->
The Lakers after Game 5 -->![]()
The Warriors have to win 3 more games to knock out the mavs. I don't see that happening. I say mavs in 6.![]()
Letting the Lakers get nineteen offensive rebounds isn't going to win the Suns any games. Also Marion pulling a casper with ten points and four rebounds won't cut it either. Good game by the Lakers, game by the Suns. I cannot believe we blew that lead (what am I saying, they blow leads quite often)

Pulling a 'Casper'. Heh, I like that. Will probably use that in the future.
thats never happend before
I would have called it "Pulling a Kwame" before this game.
Sources tell me that all future uses of the phrase must end in "Smush."
Thats true. Stupid touch fouls also. He needs to not get those type of fouls, make his fouls count instead. Well, I did not think we would sweep them but damn this one hurts since we were clicking on all cylinders in the first quarter and then thought we had it in the bag and relaxed. Diaw and Marion better wake up in the next game, no excuses to play like that. Also Nash with I think five turnovers really hurt.
Yes he should, it called classless. When you are already winning and there are seconds on the clock you run it out instead of trying to score. I'm glad Raja went after him to not let him score.
Odom alway seems to play Marion pretty well.
Like when Adrian Griffin did that stupid dunk last year.
Yeah, pretty unclassy move there by Smush Parker. I wish Raja had fouled him a little harder just to send a message, but I guess I'm a little emotional right now.![]()
Smush is stuffing his stats after all it is his contract year.![]()
Class is overrated. This is the Pros, not college, or HS, or JV... if they don't like it, they should do something about it. The only reason you don't do this is because it could backfire and cause the opponent to play mad (read: well). However, it has a good chance at making your team have a morale boost too. Screw 'unwritten rules' crap. If it is unwritten, it isn't a rule.
Yes it has, he does it all the time against the Spurs![]()
It's good to see Odom play well again. He'll probably play well against us all series long, because Marion just isn't big enough to guard him. I'd like to see D'Antoni put Amare, Marion, and Kurt Thomas in at the same time, to match up against Odom, Walton, and Kwame, respectively.
why does james jones start over diaw?
Interesting prospect Xylus. Could be very interesting. If I was coach, that would probably be my starting Suns lineup.
I agree with that lineup. Diaw is a sieve on defense, might as well try Kurt, he at least will box out and get rebounds. By the way, where was JR tonight, I hardly noticed him? He has to play well for us to space the floor correctly also.
Because Diaw has been underperforming as a starter all year. And because D'Antoni likes the Barbosa-Diaw tandem coming off the bench. It strengthens the bench and gives a player like James Jones confidence in knowing that he's a starter.
He starts over Diaw as of late because Diaw is too passive. At least that is what I think. Though JR did not show up in this game, that is for sure.
Stating the obvious![]()
Suns will still win the series, but it's good that LA got a win in here. A well rested Suns team coming off a sweep of LA would be a challenge in Game 1, after the Spurs finish a very physical Denver series.
