Yeah, disgusting, isn't it?![]()
With both these teams, flops tend to go both ways, so I don't sweat too much of that crap... I was more angry at the Amare/Duncan foul because they were wrapped up and the ball was 10 feet away... no-call at best but it didn't affect the outcome of the game as much as Nash's hemophilia.
I don't really mind flopping so much - as long as the contact was legitimate, there's no harm in accentuating it.![]()
A guy Amare's size going to the floor due to contact with Parker, however, does border a bit on the rediculous.![]()
I'm gonna go ahead and call it: Spurs pulling a Nugs... out in 4 straight (starting with Game 2).
Betting on this reminds me of that time I went all in with a pair of 2's.
Grades were well represented, Elson under-performed. We gave him a semi-pass against the Nuggets because they were a very physical team, but no legitimate reason why he shouldn't be pulling boards against the Suns.
I think as long as Manu is aggressive and is playing the game with his head we'll be alright. His rebounding was impressive and he delegated a lot to TP and TD due to the mismatches they had all game long. Smart ball. He's looking to pick his spots, and his zero TO today was a good sign.
heh, I'd trust your gut there.
IMO it was almost a repeat of Denver's game 1, except we won!Spurs kind of stunk it up a little at the beginning, and had a lot of unnecessary TO's throughout the game.
Oh yeah, and Manu sucked again. So I feel good about game 2. It'll be an up and down battle though.
Vaughn was playing like 10 year old scoolboy! He can help a little in defence, but better not shooting or even penetrating around basket...
Vaughn will a cup of coffee and some ribbing from his teammates.
Spurs are lookin' tough, keep it goin.![]()
ROFL...
That dude was great..

I hope Manu gets his head on straight. Maybe he just doesn't have "it" anymore. We'll see.
As far as the center position, I'm happy every time I see Oberto come into the game.
Vaughn? Yikes. I can't belive I'm saying this, but I'd rather see an Elson jumpshot than a Vaughn jumpshot.
Finley -- Love this guy. He was solid on both ends.
Elson have two stupid TO. Oberto can play hard and smart basketball.
I agreed timvp.
I'd grade Oberto and Horry both a bit lower. They didn't contribute as much throughout the game, though they didn't have a lot of minutes and didn't hurt us, either.
Parker was absolutely scintillating. He comes alive against Phoenix because he knows he can get into the lane any time he wants. That makes his jump shot a lot more relaxed, as he does not have to force the shot.
Duncan was clutch. The Suns have no clue how to stop him.
I thought Pop coached a great game. He made good adjustments, but beyond the subs, he seems to know how to talk to our players so that they keep their composure.
LOL @ the Suns fan in this thread. Nice try, pal. Way to waste your life trolling away on a forum. You're going to be a saaaaaaad panda when/if we win the le this year.
And, timvp quoted me. That kinda thing can be dangerous if you're not careful....
Good grades for this game. I need to watch it again though... gonna have to start TiVoing these to my Archos AV500 so I can watch them on the go.....
