    Fouls: Spurs 13, Sonics 4.

This is actually a pretty good sign for the Spurs. No ref has the balls to leave the foul count as lopsided as it is now so when these refs do even it out it will be in the Spurs favor. The Spurs should be able to do whatever they want the second half.

For some reason people seem to forget that Kurt Thomas goes a good job guarding Tim Duncan.

Did you notice how much the Sonics attcked the paint- guess that tells you what PJ thinks of Oberto and Bonner and Horry's interior defense these days.

Sonics are attacking and getting the foul calls. Pretty simple.

nope, he was only effective with the Suns because of Stoudamire's shotblocking ability

I remember they WANTED to think Thomas a good defender on Duncan, It usually was a series of Duncan 6-1 advantage for every play over Thomas. Duncan had too many moves for Thomas to remain a one on one defender on Tim in the playoffs. Thomas picked up like several early fouls in that series.

he was an average defender, however definately the best post defender on the Suns, so logically he was assigned to Duncan. Having AS behind you sure helps.

No wonder our bench hasn't scored much. They've only taken 10 shots.

    Udoka 0-4
    Finley 1-3
    Horry 0-1
    Bonner 1-2
