Oh, please ... I was so distracted by you earlier in the thread I missed a post or two that could have saved me a lot of needless post-padding. And don't think you being all cozy 'n with Dr. McDreamy doesn't eat away at me.
I'm not in SA, or I'd be at the GTG's to meet you all.
I have made a couple of friends here that have moved off the board into phone calls and emails and snail mail. Just because we're not able to hang out in person doesn't make the friendship less special.
Obviously, most of posters here are just that. Posters on a message board.
But for me, there are plenty of you that feel like more than that.
Maybe it's just because I'm on ST so much. The "regulars" that are on with me I feel a connection with.

You don't have to explain anything to me. I was asking why another poster thought it was so strange. I think it's cool. And I think you should enjoy every minute that your kid wants to do ANYTHING that may involve you. They are gone in the blink of an eye.

And yes, he's 18, I'm thrilled with any time I can get with him.
There's plenty of "parent" stuff I have to do with him, the NBA is one thing we choose to do together.
If I loved the Spurs/Duncan as much as my Mom I would hardly have the time to even apply to colleges
The spurs are definitely my favorite team in the West. But, to be quite honest, I have a soft spot in my heart for Boston.
