dbacks trade Bonifacio to the nats for Rauch
I really like this move![]()
The Diamondbacks bolstered their bullpen Tuesday, acquiring righthander Jon Rauch from the Washington Nationals for infielder Emilio Bonifacio.
At 6-11, Rauch, 29, is the tallest pitcher in major league history, surpassing the “Big Unit” by one inch. He went 4-2 with a 2.98 ERA and 17 saves in 48 appearances this season as the Nationals’ closer.
unit has won the last 4 games he pitched in
last two games no runs scored
d-backs sweep the giants
the bats have come back to life
