Now my thread in the Geeks Forum is meaningless.![]()

There's a number of Blu's that're listed for less than 9.99 and they're the ones that are gonna be marked down to .99 on the 4th. Any of the ones you might've found in the 5/$20 sale were simply mismarked and unmoved (though, obviously, they'll still work in as part of the 5-for sale).
As far as I know, the .99 sale is still a go on the 4th.
Fpoon, so you are saying the movies I listed aren't likely to be a part of the .99 blu-ray sale, correct?
That LOTR Trilogy is a damn steal for $4 each.
Fpoon, if you go to your blockbuster and they have the LOTR Trilogy and/or Tropic Thunder, if you'd get that for me I'll pay you back po'sho.
Well, unfortunately, if they're stickered as 9.99 right now, it doesn't necessarily mean that's what their current price is. A lot of times, those tables and aisles have so many different les that it becomes a little hard to keep up the constant price changes. I CAN tell you, definitively, that a large number of those on Pad's extensive list will NOT be going to .99 on Monday.
I should be able to track down a list of the ones that will be, and you can match up whichever les you see at your stores with the ones in mine.
And I'll keep an eye out for the trilogy. You ARE talking about the original release, right? Not the recent Director's Cut?
I'm just talking about the one you will find for the 5 for $20 sale, which ever ones those are. If you can find the complete trilogy on blu-ray + Tropic Thunder on that 5 for $20 table, you can just grab some other movie to complete the 5 for $20. Even if you can't find Tropic Thunder, but just the LOTR Trilogy, you can just maybe grab two others that are decent in your opinion that I didn't list above.
Heads up the 5 for 20 deal will happen again during Labor day weekend.
August is a great month for Blu-Ray releases.
Conan the Barbarian
The Magnificent Seven
Sleepers
Ferris Bueller's Day Off
The Fox and the Hound
Fast Times At Ridgemont High
Dazed and Confused (can't. ing. wait.)
The Big Lebowski
Rounders
Swingers
Good Will Hunting
Top Gun
Raising Arizona
Thats like 5 of my top 10-12 favorite comedies right there.
Finally! Gook luck finding it for under $30 dollars though, it's being released by Criterion. Best bet is to wait until November when Barnes&Noble have their 50% off criterion sale. Not complaining though Criterion have the best releases.
Picked it up today.
Coming this Tues...
and then on the 16th...
and finally, in almost exactly a MONTH from now, both
AND
on the same. ing. day. (Oct 4th)
I finally bought the 5th season of Dexter.
It sucks.
It's pretty awesome![]()
Bought each Conan movie for $10 and watched them recently. Not as I remember when I was younger.
He was better on NBC, tbh...![]()
He's still rockin on TBS though I've never liked Andy Richter.
quit purchasing them entirely 2 years ago and never looked back.

Do you just burn them, or do you mean purchasing physical copies of movies altogether?
Just bought season 4 of True Blood. On the second episode now.
