WOW
Portland would have put up a better fight
Remember the 2005 finals? Spurs blew out the Pistons in game 1 and game 2 and everybody thought the series was over. Then we went to Detroit and the same thing happened to the Spurs in game 3 and 4.
Soooo - maybe the Mavs can turn this around once they get back to Dallas...
BUT - probably not
Sacramento would have put up a better fight
Since Paul got 5 fouls, he has played on ball defense 0 times.
This team is scared to take the game into their own hands.
the announcers just said that Brandon Bass was the ONLY help Dirk got tonight.
Grizzlies would have... and I'm not kidding either.
oh yea well seattle would have put up a better fight
maybe even Miami would've done better!![]()
I want a Ryan Bowen dunk to end the game !
No Seattle is terrible. Sacramento would have been in the playoff mix if Martin never went down
Yeah I agree. I am starting to think you were right about this Kidd trade but I will still give it 1 more year before I officially decide if this trade was a bust or not.
Mavs laid down on their stomach and spread their legs on that game.
If we could somehow pick him up, I think he might be able to give Tony Parker a little trouble, and help create mismatches on the floor. Until then, we suck.
Congrats to the Hornets for owning the Mavs.![]()
That was fun, bring on game 3![]()
Not like the Rockets have any room to talk.
i still wont give up. i never quit on them during the season and i wont quit on them until they are eliminated. i hope for their sake, that the fans quit on them before they quit on us.
all that being said it definitely isnt looking good. this team has never been the same since the Finals collapse![]()
Mavs are being exposed again.
Double Dirk= automatic win.
Kidd is getting killed. Josh Howard has played like turd.
Like I said from the very beginning, Hornets in 6![]()
I think this is appropriate. It's from an email I sent my friend, who is from Dallas:
I don't think he and I are on speaking terms anymore. But then I remembered how I recently saw the do entary "Murderball," about quadriplegic rugby players. The rules of quad rugby are basically that each quad is ranked on a scale of 1-4 based upon their mobility. For example, a quad who can move his arms, hands, neck, and fingers is a 4, whereas a quad with mobility only in the arms is a 1. You can have a maximum of 8 points on the floor at any one time, so a team can potentially have up to 8 players, or as few as two.
It got me thinking: maybe Stern can use this in the NBA. Dirk, who lacks leadership and defensive skills could be a 2. Kidd, who can't defend or shoot would be a two as well. Josh Howard would be a 3 because he can shoot, defend, and look coolwith a headband. I'll give Terry a break and call him a 4, but when push comes to shove, he is still a quad.
, the way _allas is playing, there needs to some handicapping going on. I mean, the Spurs put me to sleep and all, but this is just pitiful.
