I heard Selena G singing a Selena Q song at the Rodeo during her concert warm up. I thought it was a little too precious.
Although, it was early in the morning and I was pretty grumpy.
I'd never heard of Selena until the day she died.
I grew up in Corpus so I was inundated with Selena since she was a young teen. She was on Domino Live almost every Sunday and my grandma always watched it.
Was that a local dance show? We had one in El Paso called Steve Crosno's Hop, that I believe was cancelled when he was outed as gay.
They would show local tejano musicians play. Every once and a while they would have a "big" act like Roberto Pulido or Mazz play.
