that's where we're at. Everything seems too outrageous so it's all believable.

    Cheers guys.

After Federal tax, California tax, Russian foreign income tax and Putin's "ahem" personal cut, Timofey might take home a cool 100K off the deal.

Right now I wouldn't be surprised if both Terrence Jones and Ian Mahinmi are linked to Spurs

If the Knicks were to somehow get Wade... they'd be a walking med recovery unit - Rose, Melo, Noah, Wade, even the youngster KP got hurt last year.

Brittle. Seriously talented but brittle as .

If Atlanta signed Howard, I assume that means Horford is gone... If Horford goes to Boston, the Celts probably release Jerebko-- a good option for the Spurs...
I had heard that Atlanta's plan was to pair the two of them together. They still have the flexibility to make that happen, unless Horford states that he Dhaka no desire to stay.

I always thought Horford would be better served playing PF next to a real C, but it seems like this is too little, too late... Plus, what happens to Paul Millsap? He's too good to come off the bench.

Not only yeah, but yeah. And they aren't going to be putting any big pieces around him this offseason. You guys are starting to see the pinch I was talking about, and why I thought taking a year to re-build. Free up a load of cap space, to bring in a top-tier FA, and manufacture a 40-win season to score a lottery pick.

Making the playoffs isn't enough. Aldridge didn't come here for second round (or first round) bounces. I was talking about a quick, controlled re-build. The Spurs need to pull a rabbit out of the hat, or they are going to be forced into a real, and much more ugly re-build. Right now I'm down to hoping for them finding a few over-achievers from the D-League or Europe.

But, yeah, they damned well better put some pieces in to be serious contenders, or they'll never get any big name players to come. The worst thing they could do is be a 50-win team for the next couple of seasons. Either find a way to be better than that, or commit a year to re-build and get the pain over with.
If they were desperate for winning now at all coasts a minitank is not it because it takes time to develop picks, even lottery picks into reliable help in the playoffs. Its more likely than not that you will get someone who can help a little bit but is not going to be a difference maker.

What you are really wishing for is trades for veterans that can help right now. Trading Tony Parker is a need in a scenario like this, maybe Diaw too bc he's coasted long enough.

Whatever it would take to get either Hill or Ian, just throw it at Dedmon.
Dedmon averages 6 fouls per 36 playing against scrubs. (Willie Reed better)

In any case, Jordan Hill got paid 10 mill under the old CBA & Ian is in the 15 mill territory.

Apparently, Kawhi Leonard has a personal matter and won't be attending the meeting. What could be more important than meeting with a generational talent like KD and trying to convince him to join the team? Unless, of course, that generational talent plays your position.
I am guessing his child is about to get born...

Millsap is better than soft ass Horford.

Knicks have no space unless he want to play for close to MLE & he has stated that he HATES playing in cold cities including his hometown Chicago.

Players don't even want to use the Kings as a leverage.

That's why I think Horford is gone... What's the Hawks' pitch gonna be? Re-sign with us and come off the bench?

I can imagine a sign & trade in the works with Boston that brings back a player or two.

Why not try to get wade? He's still has 2 solid years left in him and is clutch performer in the playoffs. I just don't think he'd come to San Antonio after being in Miami his entire career

They said earlier on ESPN Radio that the Knicks had around $15M left and a hole at SG (which would be a perfect fit for both).

He has 20 mill sitting on the table from the Heat but he want the MAX which starts at 28 mill for him plus there are no state taxes in Florida.
