You should go to the place I went to if you need hair, nails, facials, massages, whatever. It's better than Patricia's.
They have these private pedicure rooms with these overstuffed chaise lounges where you lay down for pedicures. It's awesome.
We get ours done at Twice as Nice Hair Designs at Brookhollow & 281. It's right next door to Friendze's. The girl I go to Cindy Lee. She is terrific. We have been going to her for about 4 years.Only 4 years.

When I first started going to her about 6 years ago, they were in a little shop off Nacogdoches and 1/2 the price that they are now.
Jeanette's is where Bruce Bowen gets (got?) his pedicures....but I've never actually got to see him while I was there.
I tried it once and about kicked the lady in the face...my feet are too ticklish to be able to stand it.
That place used to be all small and intimate when it was on Nacodoches...but now it's a big day spa and all that hoity-toity stuff. It is damn awesome though....you really do feel like a damn princess when you go.

It's been weird to me since I moved here that pedicures are more expensive in San Antonio than in L.A. Everything else in L.A. is more expensive except your toes. It doesn't make sense.

It's relatively the same prices as the one I went to. Jeanette's is much bigger though. The one I went to has private individual pedicure rooms with very cushion-y chair/lounges, which I thought was kind of cool.
The best pedicures for the money that I've gotten here in SA so far have been at NorthStar Mall at a place called Lieu's Nails. They always spend a lot of time on me and my polish seems to stay on forever.
The reason I asked is because in L.A., standard pedicure was $12 and spa pedicure $20-25. Here in S.A., I find standard pedicure $20 and spa pedicures up to $50 or more. It's odd.
