There is a little independent place over here by the Walmart on Austin Highway that charges about that for a pedicure ... I'd gone there for nails and they were so rough ... I definitely wouldn't recommend them.

Did I ever tell you that one time I swam in the ocean for 7 hours and got so bad of sunburn that people thought I had been burned in a fire (it was super disgusting burns) and they put me on pain medication because it was so bad -- and I was allergic to the pain meds and almost died.Not like marine...salt water, sunburn & sand in your crack....

I can empathize....I had the same experience sunbathing topless (on my tummy--drunk and fell asleep) and ended up with 2nd degree burns from the back of my neck to the heels of my feet. I swelled up like a balloon, couldn't walk at all and was stuck on my tummy in bed for almost a week. That was the most painful experience ever. My back is one gigantic freckle now from that ... and considering my grandmother had 2 deadly types of skin cancer...I'm just petrified of the sun.
Fortunately, I'm not allergic to pain medicine though...I don't know if I'd have made it.

I don't go for regular pedi's anymore, but when I did, I went to Vicky Nails in the same shopping center where HEB Marketplace is and paid $25.00 for a spa pedicure.
I went to a place while my son was at a movie with his friends a few weeks ago that was out by the Silverado 16, and I think I paid about $30.
Now Now Shoogar, wouldn't you want your Spurs ladies to have well manicured toes?
