...welcome to the dark side bro. Be careful where you step. Land mines and piles of everywhere you step.
Lol @ 80 pages of hope from Spurs fans, only to be shot down in the end. Yep...looking like a typical Spurs offseason! Wonder what all these players who end up picking losing teams think; AK47, Granger, and now Gasol

I knew when I check my feed this morning before logging on that this had probably pushed 80 pages. Well done ST. You never disappoint.
Help us TSpence, your our only hope.

Lol Tspence. Dude you'll be legend and god like if what you're saying is true. Spurstalk is ready to blow up....
O well at least he didn't go to the thunder that in its self is a victory. Have fun pau thibs is gonna run what's left of your career into the ground.
This article says its best. If the Bulls land Gasol it's via Amensty Boozer and straight signing him. That Spanish report is more than likely false. IF they amnesty Boozer they will lose the MLE and BAE. They will have 5mil cap space to work w if they sign Gasol to a 10mil a year deal. But they lose the BAE and Have to pay 17 mil on a guy that isn't even on their roster. Just don't see the Bulls doing this when they have more of a need at SG at this point and they have a real shot of landing Stephenson.

or melt down![]()
There is not going to be a meltdown. Mills resigned, Diaw resigned, Duncan opts in, Pop ext. Every bodies happy at this point well maybe not Kobyz.
Signing Gasol would have just been a cherry on top. Spurs are primed for a Finals run w or wo Gasol. Having him would just make it easier on the Spurs efforts.
I wouldn't melt down. Gasol is a total luxury at this point. I almost wouldn't want to take him because it's unfair to the rest of the league...I said almost.![]()
Exactly. He is 32, has won two rings, and is looking for as much money as he can at the end of his career. He didn't turn down that Laker offer, as well as that Atlanta offer without a reasonable expectation that he can get $10 mill per year at a team of his choice.
Sometimes I think the owners of SpursTalk are just running a big social media experiment, creating characters like Tspence and using other trolls to prop him up, then they sit back and watch the reaction of the 50 or so REAL members for entertainment!

How this thread went from 34 pages to 79 in 16 hours ? Rofl
He is 34. And the Spurs can give him a PO on the 2nd year of his deal and pay him next year. Only way Bulls can give him more is if they Amnesty Boozer, which hasn't happen yet.
80 pages for a backup center tbh.
The Spurs getting Gasol would have been the rich getting richer, the best getting deeper. If he doesn't sign here, its not a big deal. Whats great is that we have the personnel to limit his effectiveness against us. Looking at this objectively, I would go to Chicago if I was him. Of course, I'm assuming he's compe ive, wants a chance to play lots of minutes and wants to start.
Currently, we can offer the same thing as the Bulls so I don't know why he'd choose to go there, tbh.
I went to bed too early. I miss TSpence's big entrance.

Well when Pau said he's close to a decision he was bull ting.
We are going to sign him.. Tspence gave us his word..
1) East
2) More playing time
3) He had been labelled as a mentally weak and soft player before Kobe kinda forced him into the player during the 09, 10 Lakers championship run, so he might not want to be coached by Pop who will yell at him.
Just seems like a bunch of bull reports tbh. Won't believe anything until it's official. Right now, it just doesn't make sense.
When Gasol tweeted "almost done making decision" he meant "decision made" 100 percent confident in original report, Gasol will go to Spurs.
