Just filed to ESPN with @STEIN_LINE_HQ: Utah and Miami have opened discussions on a possible Carlos Boozer deal before 3 PM deadline
Trade him.
So it sounds like the only question left is if Peter Holt will save some money by the Spurs salary dumping RMJ.
Fantastic.
Parker must be traded while he still has value...
Well this was fun..at least the deadline gave us some NBA excitement for a few days..now back to NBA reality..
+1
parker + mason for bosh would work?
if parker plans to play with NT even with PF the time to trade him is now.
maybe he will be a manu2 and injury with france this summer.
that would not only this season but the next. he wouldn't be at 100% and wouldn't be tradeable.
we will make the 100 pages before the deadline?
My theory on that is simple. Tony made all that noise earlier about not playing for the NT to get the Spurs to open negotiations on an extension. The Spurs said we'll talk to you in 2011 and so Tony sees no reason to take the summer off. Except for giving the Spurs the best chance to win next year, which is now clearly not his highest priority.
There's really no reason not to trade Tony this summer.
Can you honestly blame Holt?

Utah and Miami have recruited Wiz to be 3rd team in Boozer talks. Wash would get cap relief out of it. Beasley not involved, source says.
Lol WTF Utah? Your playing great and now your gonna blow it up?
Agreed. No way Utah trades Boozer right now. They would essentially be taking themselves out of serious contention. I don't think they would make such a boneheaded move like that.
Breaking news on several Twitter feeds: NYK/Rockets/Kings three way deal is done.

Sources say Houston gets Kevin Martin, Jared Jeffries, right to swap first-round picks with NYK in 2011 and New York's first-rounder in 2012
Damn, those picks should be gold for the Rockets.
Damn the rockets let go Carl landry. Slightly suprising there...
Two first round picks make the trade much more palatable for Houston.
Did Armstrong and Thomas fall out of that Kings/Knicks/Rockets deal? They were originally included before the Knicks got involved.
Two...first...round...picks.

Losing Landry and gaining Jeffries . . . they had to get something.
