My chances of catching covid from today until 6 months from now (when Ill most likely will get the jab) is probably very minimal. So I disagree w ur statement
I do agree if I never get the vacvine Ill most likely get covid. But thats not my plan.

You add the 30 or 40% of young mostly vaccine dodgers and you have a failed herd immunity policy tbqh as I predicted.
I always said we need to work on medicines and theurapeutics as thise will help us way more than mediocre vaccines.
This virus is here to stay but "lets go for an impossible herd immunity with ty vaccines. That will work!"

I wonder what the real percentage of people who have gotten the virus and were asymptomatic is. I bet it's a huge number (definitely not close to what is reported or inferred from what is reported)

Fatality rate will fall as vaccinations go up, so each new fatality will indicate more and more infections. That will make that calc a lot harder as time goes by.
It will simply become another yearly shot most of us will have to get, like the flu.
