there is KD to the spurs buzz
I legit wouldn't take Jaylen Brown for just salary match, his contract will be the worst in the league in a few years.
As I wrote before, Spurstalk is the Imperium in Warhammer and timvp is the Emperor.
The whole idea of the Emperor is that you don't know whether he's alive or dead. The whole Imperium might be running on supers ion. There's no guarantee that the Emperor is anything other than a corpse with a residual mental ability. It's got some parallels with religious beliefs and principles.
The Imperium strictly prohibits every form of AI.
I don't know what most of those words mean, nerd.
It's one of my favorite SciFi settings, I'm not a nerd because I've been following it since I was a kid.
Henry Cavill is it's biggest fan and is producing a show for Amazon, I expect it to be space version of GOT.
On a more serious note, I ing hate AI because predictably people started using it for all the wrong things and it will eventually lead to humanity getting even dumber.
I'm listening
I knew that was fake, but man, I still didn't like reading it.
The first time he tried to roll under the army truck was chef’s kiss.
Instead of sacrificing psykers we're sacrificing the braincells of the spurstalk users to keep timvp alive
Young player you say.....Would this be too much for Durant? For the record I'm firmly in the "I want Durant Camp" but I will be fine not getting him as it would mean Harper will initially get more offensive responsibilities to start the new season.
Devin, Keldon, 14th pick, 2027 Atlanta pick Lottery Protected.
I mean supposedly that's what the Spurs have been offering unless they haven't been including part of it
I mean player, player, and pick
maybe a future pick, such as the Atlanta 27 pick, but protected, are the last chip the spurs would throw in but are waiting for the right moment to offer it.
Guess I'll do my part tbh.
From what I have read, I have not seen the Atlanta 2027 pick mention a whole lot. On the Atlanta pick I would go as far as 1-10 protected.
These so called journalists are running out of things to reprt, tbh.
They can have either Devin, Barnes and #14 with a handful of SRPs or Jeremy added in there instead of #14.
Could be, the reason I would throw in that pick is that if Castle and Harper are the players we think will be, the Spurs will be set for the next 10 years! Good times ahead for us Spurs fans!!!
Suns are ran by morons. It's obvious to anyone with an intelligent brain that the suns have zero leverage. All it takes is one "KD refuses to resign with any team other than X" and they get maximum of a salary swap and a few seconds
Supposedly one of the offers was without Devin or Sochan, i.e. Barnes, Keldon, Malaki and Wesley or something similar. In that scenario, there's arguably only one young starter, Keldon
So this current leak could be Phoenix desperately begging SA to at least add Vassell or Sochan so they can save face with getting 2 young starters for 1 old one plus 14 or ATL 27.
Somewhat amusing
I meant to point to the player plus player plus the 14. AFAIK that's all they've been offering, which this suggests Phx would accept.
So this implies that hasn't been offered unless the Suns don't want Barnes and want say Keldon instead
Sidery is a smoker and has been wrong every tweet. Phoenix has no leverage because they want in on the draft this year.
Ishbia when he realizes they aren't going to get what they want, and nobody gives a about them "drawing a line" when you've already got a disgruntled star (who happens to be pushing 40) who you have tried to trade multiple times
And as far as keeping Durant, Suns might think they would have leverage in a sign and trade next summer. No team that can free up $60 million in cap room will pay it to Durant.
Even the Spurs if they let go of cap holds like Sochan and maybe dump Keldon can't free up more than $40 million from what I've heard though I haven't done the math myself yet
Suns might think he'll play hard until the deadline before shutting it down with an injury real or otherwise and that'll still be enough to replicate this season, missing a play in. And if Durant walks completely, they get well under the tax. If they do a sign and trade, they can still get picks anyway.
Not the smartest way to do things but I can see it happening, crazed owner getting prideful and taking his ball and going home if he feels teams are being unfair.
