I never complain about the bloodiness of someone else's steak, and I actually do like the flavor of a rare/medium rare steak... there's just a chewiness that I don't appreciate.

I'm ridiculously picky when it comes to food texture (once got almost thrown out of a Chinese restaurant when I was a kid for loudly complaining to my mother that a particular type of noodle felt like eating sheets of human skin), and there's something about a rare steak that bothers me.
No , you just can't boil everything.
Now, I do like their tendency of putting everything in a pie crust, I think that's a grand idea.
