Cuban - hoisted on his own pe .
This was pretty much expected.
Dallas just signed RJ too so I guess Marion is gone.
wheres the got who said rockets will 100% match it![]()
Unless he takes the room exception. He's definitely in play now.
Mavs have got a lot better this summer. Still a contender.
It's not arguable. RJ is a better player than Matt now and always. I said in a bubble because for the Spurs Matt actually has more value due to the system and his skillset within that system despite being a worse basketball player.
I always enjoy your bubble stories.
Houston is so dumb and Morey is not a good GM. Traded Asik/Lin/Parsons for Ariza. Thanks, Morey. Now HOU is worse basketball wise which helps SA, older which helps SA and has more money committed next year too. Awesome.
It's turned into The Chronicles at this point.

Washington and Houston have agreed to a sign-and-trade for Trevor Ariza, league source tells Yahoo. Wizards get $8.5M trade exception.

Mario Chalmers is returning to the Miami Heat on a two-year deal, sources tell ESPN
I do wonder if Cuban really wanted Parsons at that price. I have to believe so because that is just not a gamble one can make at that price, but man.
Like Cuban a couple years ago, Morey gutted his team in order to gamble on free agency signings and lost. Good for us though.
The Heat throwing him under the bus in the Finals only to bring him back.
Seems like Dallas and Houston are both worse off because of the Parsons fiasco. Even more so if Dallas loses Marion after already losing Carter. When Cuban convinced Dirk to take 10M per year to open up a huge chunk of cap space, Dirk surely wasn't expecting to see Chandler freakin' Parsons get 15M per year.
I would say no, but who else where they going to get. Parson was exactly the type of player Dallas needed offensively. This was to make Dallas a contender for a couple more seasons for Dirk and it has. Still not as good as OKC or Spurs, but it puts them in Clippers territory. Now they got their rim protector back in Chandler, Dallas could afford to go for more offense than defense.
dallas looking good for next season
It is.
I guess our definitions of "player" differ.RJ is a better player than Matt now and always.
Yet when I asked,I said in a bubble because for the Spurs Matt actually has more value due to the system and his skillset within that system despite being a worse basketball player.
You said rather ly
Thanks. Trying to have a legit conversation but I guess you're just too basketball savvy for the rest of us.
As I said, they're both niche players. RJ has a different skill set than Matt. Matt has actually improved his ability to play "basketball" so I can't see how anyone can say RJ is a better basketball player than him at this point. And I ing hate seeing bonner check into games.
Yup, boiled down at this point, Dirk took a massive paycut to swap out Calderon/Marion/Vince/Dalembert for Felton/Tyson/Parsons/Richard Jefferson.
