Blazers just beat the Thunder to give them their 31st loss. If the Spurs would have won they would have been at 4 today

@ those who thought the Raptors were contenders, getting slapped at home by the Clippers.

    _____________________________
As if one game would determine that. Had they blown the Clippers out, they still weren't contenders. They don't have a superstar, lack quality 3-point shooters (unlike the Spurs, they somewhat make up for it through sheer volume) and size on the wings.

They're the best team in the East, but because they lack a superstar, don't match-up well with James and he routinely emasculates them, they're liable to lose to the Cavaliers. Either way, they have no chance vs the Warriors/Rockets.

Zeke Upshaw, G-League player for the Pistons, collapsed on court in cardiac arrest. Hope the guy pulls through.

Heart issues, even minor, are no joke especially if you'e engaging in strenuous physical activities on the regular..Makes me respect Aldridge even more. We called him soft and diva, but he is likely playing through something that could possibly drop him dead at any minute unlike a certain ass dude.

It's weird the way how sports rivalries work.

Six, seven years ago I used to hate everything about the Heat. Now, I really respect them for this season, rooting for them to make the playoffs.

The same about the Mavs. Now, I like Dirk, his loyalty, I realize how great he was

I wonder if I would think the same in ten years about Spurs-OKC/HOU rivalries. IDK. Only thinking in the possibility of Harden/CP3 winning their first ring this year is killing me right now.

I never hated the Heat even when the Spurs lost to them. Wade-Lebron-Bosh and Spo were pretty respectful throughout that series in '13. I hated the Mavs for a long time but as time passed I gained respect for Dirk especially after he took out the Lakers in '11. Always despised the Lakers and felt they were classless during the rivalry with Kobe,Shaq,Phil talking a lot of garbage plus I also hated their role players such as Fisher,Fox,etc. My feelings about that rivalry hasn't' changed years later. I don't like Houston because I don't respect Harden the person and player. I obviously despise the Warriors and that will never change.

I forget about Lakers. I'm enjoying so much this LAL's dark decade...You're right, there are some rivalries that never change.

It's the fans, or fake ones at that. Heat all of a sudden were super popular. Now, not so much. Bulls then to now. I actually found Spurs to be the most consistent. Perhaps because we are so consistent. But we don't get the bandwagoners. We simply don't hype our players and have that stigma that we are boring, which we are now. But not in 2012 to 2014.

The Grizzlies are now 2-0 against the Timberwolves this season.

The Timberwolves stopped the Grizzlies' 11 game losing streak in December and stopped the Grizzlies' 17 game road losing streak today.

The Timberwolves don't deserve to be in the postseason. them.

What do you mean? Murray was drafted in the nba. This means he has a ton of talent as a playmaker, a facilitator, and has a high bbiq!

Jordan has said on numerous occasions that he's not going to trade Kemba unless he gets an all-star in return. Spurs are not getting Kemba unless they offer LMA or Kawhi.

If Kawhi wants a trade, Kemba might be an option. Sure, you wouldn't get a GREAT return, but at least Kawhi would end up in NBA as punishment for being a little .

As I said at the time, posturing. Jordan isn't getting an All-Star in return and he knows it.

Walker is the one with the leverage here, because he can walk for nothing in just over a year. They obviously can't afford for that to happen, so a decision needs to be made this summer if they want to maximize value.

He's clearly not interested in re-building and is probably only interested in status quo, if they offer him a Conley or Holiday type contract, which wouldn't make sense on their part.

Neither team does that. Hornets because Leonard would obviously not re-sign in a year and Spurs because Walker really only makes sense as an addition to a Leonard centric team.

If Leonard forced a trade, young players, prospects and picks are what they should and more than likely would be after.

I live in Charlotte so I have good pulse on the Hornets. Jordan is delusional and he's very incompetent. Once he makes a decision he stands by it and never changes his mind. He's actually crazy enough to give out Kemba a Conley type of deal. It wouldn't shock me if he did. Jordan want's to get a kings ransom for Kemba. If he doesn't end up with it he's willing to risk losing him through FA because he feels most likely Kemba will resign with them if they give him the max. Even if Kemba does walk away it's still a win win for Jordan because the Hornets are already a lottery team with Kemba. They have not had much success with him so losing him is not going to sink their franchise.

Kemba does not really have any leverage here since he's not a superstar and he's never had great success when it comes to winning with the Hornets.

I was being half-serious. I wouldn't mind Kemba, but obviously a good deal isn't workable with that team.

Even if Jordan were delusional, I'm sure the front office (I know Cho has been let go) told him that they wouldn't get an All-Star in return. I'd be surprised if they offered Walker a Conley contract, but not a Holiday one.

It's not a win-win if Walker walks. A franchise devoid of financial flexibility and with limited young assets, would set their own re-build back and receive significant public backlash if they lost their best asset without making gains in those two areas. Walker and his agent obviously know that, which means they have all the leverage.

I wouldn't be so sure that a good deal isn't workable with them.

To follow up on why Walker wouldn't make sense without Leonard: An Aldridge-Walker led Spurs, with the majority of the remainder of the rotation intact, would be stuck on the dreaded treadmill of mediocrity. Too good to get top picks, too bad to contend.

It doesn't matter what the front office tells Jordan. You don't understand how it works down here in Charlotte. Jordan has a history of overruling the front office when it comes to free agency signings, draft choices, trades. Jordan always makes the final decision and if he disagrees with you he doesn't give a about what you have to say. Jordan feels he can get an all-star for Kemba and nothing will change his mind even if it doesn't come to fruition.

The Hornets would not receive any backlash locally if they didn't re-sign Kemba. The local media down here actually wants the Hornets to gut this current team and rebuild. Nobody believes it worth it to continue with things the way they are. Kemba doesn't have any leverage in this situation because the Hornets have been pretty mediocre during the time he's been here. There is really no pressure to keep him because the feeling down here is the hornets suck with Kemba and they will suck without him so what's the point of keeping him. Also the Hornets home attendance is pretty bad it's ranked 26th in the league so I can't see any fan backlash if the Hornet's don't keep Kemba.

Personally I don't think Kemba want's to leave Charlotte. He likes the city and he like's being the number 1 guy. It's like a LMA type of deal for him. Sure he would like to win more games but it doesn't really bother him since he's the number 1 guy on the Hornets. He's not going to get the opportunity to be the man on any other team.
