To be fair to Trumpists, that's been a hallmark of conservative discourse since Trump was a Democrat.

Repugs want all those loopholes held open, and will looking for more. Repugs want Repug President a "unitary executive" fascist.

Despite Trump Abuses, 208 House Republicans Vote Against Bill to Ensure 'No President Is Above the Law'

"The overreach and abuses of the last administration exposed a series of loopholes and problems that urgently need to be addressed."

House of Representatives voted Thursday almost entirely along party lines in favor of proposed legislation to

curb executive power and bolster transparency,

would require presidents and vice presidents, as well as major-party presidential and vice-presidential candidates, to disclose their income tax returns.

It would also increase penalties for violations of the Hatch Act,

    ban presidential self-pardons,

and strengthen Justice Department and congressional subpoena powers, among other reforms.

former President Donald Trump, who faces civil and criminal probes,

"abused the powers of his office to protect and enrich himself, family, and friends

while targeting his political opponents and

soliciting foreign interference to help his election."

twice-impeached Trump "took a sledgehammer to the foundations of our democracy and left our democratic ins utions teetering on the edge.

GOP lawmaker to pack heat because Wisconsin election audit is ‘jazzing up’ dangerous people

    Republican state Sen. Kathleen Bernier,

who chairs Wisconsin's Senate Elections Committee, suggested

she would be armed to protect herself

during an upcoming hearing with former Supreme Court Justice Michael Gablemn,

who is conducting widely-panned partisan investigation into the 2020 election.

"GOP state Sen. Kathy Bernier says Gableman is 'jazzing up' people who don't know what they're talking about regarding elections,"

    https://www.rawstory.com/wisconsin-audit-2656020825/

    Kock money?

"Gableman's election in 2008 was seen as part of a trend of outside big-money interests becoming a major factor in state judiciary elections."

The agenda was to do no legislation, only to try to stymie the WH. What you're talking about is commonplace politics for "both sides". I see where the dems claim to stand. That's the problem with the dems, they aren't cohesive enough to do anything about their convictions. Enough of them are career politicians who would rather salve the beltway relationships than make any real changes. They had the WH and the majority in both the house and senate. What did they do? Then the cons uents have the gall to claim "if we only had 4 more years we could blah blah on gun control, or abortion, or Gay rights, or immigration, or minimum wage, or the environment". Still, nothing. WH23 showed it was likely worse.

How's the gun control thing doing? How about federal minimum wage hike? What do they have to show? I voted for Biden because Trump was too much of a showman, not really suited for leadership, too self centered and borderline psychotic. I have to admit though that the dems haven't provided anything but a relief from seeing Trump.
The legislative agenda is there though. That they can't pass it because of Manchinema is a different issue altogether. You know where they stand on healthcare, like expanding Obamacare, because they actually put pen to paper and it's part of laws that might or might not pass.

The last time the GOP had anything to do with healthcare, they wanted to only repeal Obamacare and still didn't know what to do next, because they don't have any plan or policy position. "Obamacare bad" is a fine criticism, but it's not healthcare policy.

Same thing with the Green New Deal, which BTW, was introduced in 2019, while they held the House and despite that there was no chance of it passing. But that's not the point. You know where that party generally stands on the environment as well.

The only thing clear as far as the GOP platform is the bare minimum necessary to pander to the religious base, like abortion or anything related to the 2nd amendment (mostly to trigger dem libs). They also used to hold the fiscal responsibility and smaller government hat, but after the last few GOP administrations, it's entirely pretend now.

Of course, you just post tweets that make the comparison and support others who do that. You'd never risk tarnishing your holy gown of righteousness by openly taking a stance.

Sure we know what the Dems say they are for, until they get power and then do nothing about it. Being powerless to affect change while you have power is about as worthless as you can be.

Of course you think that reflects your own opinion is straight news. You support the through the "blind eye" and regurgitating other people's comments as "food for thought" but at the same time you make sure you distance yourself from it for sake of plausible deniability. You're not fooling anyone. You're about as chicken as they come.
