The game wasn't really more physcial back in the good ol days tbh

    nostalgia
True, and not sure how any *good ole days* could leave out Regina Miller and his Broadway Showgirl leg kick.
Unless you want to keep it in the 80s.

How about simply giving us another Timmy Dunks vs 2004 Pistons.

A good old hetero vs hetero Finals with super low ego emissions.

Some basics from Hennesy @ Boston Globe
No Celtic team had lost a Finals after taking a 2-1 series lead. No Boston team had lost three straight games in the Finals.

These guys did both. After not losing two straight games since March 28-30, they lost three straight in the Finals.
Games 4 and 5 were disappointing. The Celts collapsed down the stretch in both.
Game 6 was worse as the Green were outscored by an embarrassing 21-0 in a horrible stretch of the first half.
The Celtics were crisp and dominant in the early minutes, racing to a 14-2 lead and forcing a timeout by Kerr. The quick start emboldened a Garden crowd, which was decidedly nervous at the opening tap.

Yea, I'm not sure that he had a Bird, McHale, Parish, Garnett, or Pierce on that team. Maybe an Allen.

So why run the offense thru the most turnover prone Kobme type when clearly the two games Boston won had Tatum distributing the ball?

Are you claiming State had the better roster?

    A 21-0 run.
Are you claiming that was Golden State brilliance vs Celtics incompetence?

Ime didn’t have any adjustments once White became unplayable. If one of Tatum, Brown, or Smart was off the floor, it was an awful disaster. The only squad I can remember with worse depth is Lebron’s first finals loss against the Spurs. He couldn’t find any secondary lineups to hold down the fort, which is crazy to be surprised with in the Finals. That’s an indictment on the entire franchise, Ime deserves some criticism for it.
