Luka's defense is far better than expected. You see Lyles completely fail to keep good perimeter players from blowing by him. He's just not quick enough. Samanic is a fast guy, but more important, he's really long.

It’s funny bc Luka got sent down to G League bc of defense. That’s his best attribute right now. Needs to not bring that ball low when driving.
If Poodle wasn't so soft and unathletic defensively we would be up now

Thanks for posting. If someone can play defense like this, he’s a surefire rotation player. He looks like he belongs out there. Hopefully team gets back to full strength and he can get some more action in the Gubble before potentially seeing rotation time later in the season.
Luka looks great...I'm most impressed by his intensity and defense...and those are two qualities I've never equated with him before
