I'd take all the recent Mysterium Verum beers over it, myself. The Tenebrae was my favorite. Their anniversary party is next month
Devils Backbone is definitely their best beer IMO. Very quality beer.

Hmm, haven't tried those, I will be on the lookout
Of the ones I have had I agree. Although the Brewhouse Brown Ale is one of the better Brown Ales I have had. Smooth, Flavorful, and Crisp.
Will have to try those others Lee.
Real Ale is pretty good
so what sort of munchie u guys prepare to go with ur drinks, whether drinkin alone at home?
Double Two Hearted from Bells is out in 6 packs.
Can anyone recommend a good Vanilla Porter from a Texas brewery? I would love to buy a local vanilla porter, but have had trouble finding them or the ones I have tried have been pretty mediocre.
My local grocery store has had Dale's 12 packs on the cheap for a while now. It's been my go to when I'm not drinking bourbon
might want to wait a month or two for them to be in season. weathered souls does some decent stuff like that
A beel tled
Will give weathered souls a look. Unfortunately Texas doesn’t do very good porters or stouts even in the cold months from what I have seen. There is obviously exceptions to the rule...
Guadalupe Brewery in New Braunfels has their Pecan Cocoa Stout and it’s one of the best stouts I personally have ever had.
I have had that one as well and it is quite good.
512 Pecan Porter is real ing good as well.
freetail has a really good coffee stout, but it’s hard to find in stores. Basically have to go to the brewery to get it
