"And I hit the ball, and I was going for the ball."
Previously Poole did make a swipe at the ball over Ja's back.
The above pic is an entirely different 2nd reach, about a second or two later. He made zero attempt to play for the ball.

Notice Poole resting his own hand on Ja's back for support.
If you brush a guys kneecap, ya that happens.
To actually grab a guys kneecap and give a twist / pull?

Ya, I'm calling 100% bull on Poole.

You have to have real weak knees if that injures you. Morant was injured before that anyway when he jumped at klay, so this didnt do anything to his weak knees.

A ya that was the knee Ja previously had surgery on.
Yes prior to Poole doing The Twist it looked like as Ja was shuffling he landed awkwardly. That having been said, 100 you can easily have your knee cap and underlying ed up by a twist like that.

no you don't especially when your knee is planted like it was, look at how his kneecap goes back and for like a damn metronome, your body ain't made to do that

As weird as this sounds and I'm not a conservative or "libertarian" like you, but I truly despise SF. I hate tech bros, the SJW PC culture down there.

San Antonio would be a higher priority because of all the military bases there.

yeah it looks really bad. at best, it was an incredibly stupid thing to do, perhaps he was just trying to grab him for the sake of intentionally fouling him, but did so in a very dangerous way.

but not sure how anyone can really defend this too much, particularly as him "going for the ball", thats just asinine. he just needs to issue an apology for the dangerous play and move on, making crappy excuses is just dumb

Wasn't intentional. Barely looks like anything in full time.

The fact that some people think this was intentional proves they never played Ball imo.

    Dirty No

But Poole is grabbing and grasping in desperation. Trying to create a play which might have directly resulted in an injury.

To me this is Sport. Watching some of the recent Suns/Mavs game. Consistent march to the review table. This is ultimately a non-digital activity. The tighter the calls the more encouragement for flopping.

I can't believe this is seriously a question. It was clearly a basketball play and physically speaking there is no way you can get a bone bruise from a guy grabbing at your kneecap while you're in motion

Ya that is why the pic shows Pooles hand as far extended as it ever was.
Also why he grasps the knee cap, digs in a little with his finger.
Also why his hand is stationary on Ja's back.

    Basketball play uh huh.

Now as to whether or not Ja had already bruised it, sure that's a likely hood. Don't see how one could "bruise" a bone by doing a knee cap twist.
As to whether or not the knee cap twist did any further damage, entirely possible it did. Even if it did not, bull play.
    Go for the ball asshat.

Poole clearly NOT going for the ball.
