I like him but, not at #18. Walker, Zhaire, or Huerter would be my target there. If we drop back or pick up a pick in the 20's I'd like DiVincenzo.

Donte will be a bust. He's a second round pick at best.

Gotta agree with you this time. He out of everyone in the first round screams bust the loudest to me.

Drafting a white American player in the first round in 2018 would be rock bottom for this franchise..

The real reason why Kawhi wants out.

I don't want him. I am always su ious of "prospects" who would be either back at school or going in the 2nd rd/undrafted without a one game breakout in the finals...

Unless Donte says that Kawhi called him and said he'd re-up at a discount if the Spurs drafted him, I don't think so.

almost any player outside of about six or seven in this draft is a potential bust. and then there are always going to be some players that teams will regret having passed on.

That is racist. Terrible logic, actually toxic logic. I'm sure drafting TP and Manu would be impossible with this kind of thinking. Character is more important and if that is what DiVincenzo has then I'll take that over a more athletic guy with none. DiVicenzo actually had a monster vertical leap at the combine. That probably eases their fears on whether he is really 1st round material.

DiVincenzo is a solid Spurs-type player, but I think 18 is too high for him. There will be better players available with higher upside.

His skill-level is actually pretty solid, and he’s a pretty good athlete for a white guy (tied for the highest vertical at the combine at 42 inches, finished 5th in the lane agility drill, 11th in the shuttle-run, 9th in 3/4 court sprint, etc.). But it’s his size and length that worry me. He’s only 6’4 with shoes and has a 6’6 wingspan. Those are pretty poor for an NBA SG, unless your name is JJ Re .

Spurs are going Utah with no blacks ( cappuccino and foreign ok). And since Golden State is winning that way (with one minstrel quality true black) who can say no?

Between kawhi, Simmons, and dedmon the well is poisoned.

    Stop, it isn't racism

It's just the direction of the league, it's like saying players like Kendrick Perkins have been eradicated from basketball, that's the current climate of the league..

For white Americans to reacclimate themselves to the NBA, they need to continue breeding with us to create Klay Thompson types, it's the only way they'll get in on the action again..this isn't 1980..

That, and he sucks. People said Danny Green 2.0, and while Green's career has definitely been worth a high-first, he was drafted in the second for a reason.
