We need to raise the level of our discussions if you want anyone to pay attention to anything your saying. Or we could continue on the present course....which we've been on here at Spurstalk for over half a decade now...where the only ones reading your posts are 3 or 4 other guys that don't like each other and just want to pat themselves on the back for best zinger, most clever usage of curse words, most hurtful insult, etc. Guys, are we really at the level of the monkeys at the zoo flinging feces at each other in between watching tv and browsing the internet for porn and things we dI'm not ont agree with? Seriously? Do you men have children? Didnt you have a mom that raised you better than than this? I cannot point fingers. We all have to look at ourselves. This is a discussion board. Of course all viewpoints and opinions are welcome...they always have been, thanks to Kori. But we gotta step our game up. Have some self respect. Avante, bro, you need to admit you messed up when you were a kid and you should have known better and uts something you regret that happened. We ALL have F ups in oyr lives. I'd rather sit through staticky reruns of sabrina the teenage witch than sit through this shi movie. What exactly is the point? To be semi witty and count the cash of on the fence christians and hating atheists that will go see this movie? Not to mention the poor saps that get dragged along...I'd rather watch dances with wolves 3 times in a row...in spanish. I'd rather put on a cape and park on the overpass and contemplate self sustaining human flight again. If I'm watching a courtroom, there better be law and order music and a smokin hot, young, tough, with a touch of naivety, brunette with a tight dress on. And who wants to see 2nd rate hollywood actors actually argue the merits of J and G's existence? Its easter...time to put on a leather gimp mask, grab your woman and put passion of the Christ on to set the mood. Don't forget the popcorn. No butter in mine please.

Well yes Blake, but its a rare movie that's not meant to make money. I don't read the bible. Maybe that is a shortcoming on my part, but I'm not sure. I like Joel Osteen on Sunday mornings, I have a nice little baptist church I have started attending, and I get Jesus speaks updated via an app. I'm content with that. The Bible of today is a copy if a copy if a copy, with cut abd pastes, and sketchy translation. As a good Christian, you have to be discerning and take all the wisdom and lessons and frankly, disregard the rest. We will all find out the truth one day, but Jesus was the ultimate Christian, and I dont think he carried around a book. Maybe an iphone. But not a book. Its like a good jedi...you use the force and lead and follow with your heart.
Gods plan for avante involve cotton fields, chains and plenty of skin cancer from all that fieldwork.
