Storyline: I predicted the Chargers to go 5-11 and miss the playoffs last year, and I was spot on. This year, I predicted the Chargers to start off terrible and rally and finish 9-7, make the playoffs, and do damage in said playoffs, and I think I'm going to be right again. Phillip "Shoulder Twitch GOAT" Rivers will lead Dean's Golden Team into making some serious noise in the playoffs this year, as I predicted from August on. This is my 2017-18 team of destiny, and has been all along. This team is awesome, like it or not.
Others:
- Go Jets (lol) and Steelers
- Go Panthers and Seahawks. The Failcons don't deserve it.
- No SNF on NYE was the smart play. Plus, no division le week 17 games for the first time since the NFL went to all-division games in week 17.
- Go Jaguars and Ravens. And Chargers of course, lol.
- Go Packers (lol) and Eagles. #firegarrett #firelinehan #keepmarinelli #keepdlaw #tradedez
- As long as Tom Shady doesn't ring
- Happy New Year's Eve! Good riddance... about damn time 2017 ed off. Worst year in human history...

When I died in week 5, Kamara was just a potential item and the Saints were just okay. Now he's a young superstar and Brees looks like 2009 again. Happy for you guys.

Nantz and Kenny Albert... the #1 and #2 guys on CBS and Fox respectively... both get relatively meaningless games. But Go J-E-T-S JETS I guess
Good to have you back
Like.
Good to have Nola back in the playoffs this year, tbh. NFC hasn't felt right with Brees missing from the playoffs the last several years, tbh
gy Cheatrefs needing their beloved zebras to hold their hands and escort them down the field to beat the ty Jets at home
pretenders
Cks as a #1 wide receiver
How are they pretenders? The AFC is a joke, there isn't a team in the NFC with enough talent, experience, coaching and/or mental toughness to beat them when it matters, and it's not like the refs are going to stop escorting them down the field come playoff time.
Also, no comment on your boy Trash Prescott choking the playoffs away? Romo would have won that game, tbh.
New Cheatland and their gy s bag baaaaaaahstun fans with all that is good, tbh
What? This isn't last year.
If the Chargers get in, then ANY team in the playoff picture can beat New Cheatland. MAYBE not Jacksonville due to inexperience on offense, but that defense is pretty awesome?!
The NFC is stacked. Who are you kidding?
this isn't like most years where there are a considerable amount of ty teams that make the playoffs that you're like, , what a waste of a seed, they have no chance. Almost all the teams on both sides are legit and can beat anyone anywhere this year. Jax is the one I'm most skeptical of, and let's see who wins the #6 in the AFC...
if it's Buffalo or Tennessee then that's a waste of a spot of course, but the Chargers can do serious damage and even win in New England.... they built around the right stuff (Rivers, Bosa, Ingram)... who can argue with a top 5 QB and a top-NFL pass rush duo? It's a passing league, so you get a great passer and stop the pass on the other end, you're a of a team. Chargers are legit if they don't shoot themselves in the foot on special teams.
The fact that Dean's ty team is still in the playoff hunt is proof enough that the AFC is a joke. They haven't beaten any good teams and have benefitted from the easiest schedule in recent memory. The rest of the AFC missed its chance to dethrone the Pats when Elite Manning didn't get traded to Jacksonville.
After the Seahawks' and Falcons' epic meltdowns over the last couple years, I'm not trusting any of these "stacked" NFC teams to get the job done.
The Steelers are damn good and should have won if not for a stupid rule... still should have at minimum forced OT... no Antonio Brown for that one... they're better than the cheatriots
Jacksonville's offense is a big question mark, but their defense is undeniably good
Chiefs have the moxie and already beat them on the road
Ravens are another high moxie team with a great defense and a QB who seems to play his best football near and in the playoffs
Chargers are legit and not bad at all. Open your eyes and stop the Dean hate. Yeah, the move was stupid but that's a damn fine and balanced team.
It's NOT at all like last year's AFC cakewalk that featured... Texans starting Assweiler... Raiders starting Connor Cook... ing Miami? Now THAT'S the definition of a cakewalk.
The Steelers are mentally owned by the Patriots in big games and still insist on running that re ed soft zone on defense that Brady picks apart every time.
At best, I think Jacksonville's ceiling against the Patriots is a repeat of the Seahawks in the Super Bowl. The defense does all the work to keep the game compe ive, only for their garbage quarterback to choke the game away.Jacksonville's offense is a big question mark, but their defense is undeniably good
...in September. Big whoop. Not trusting Andy Reid and Alex Smith to win a big game against anyone good.Chiefs have the moxie and already beat them on the road
The Ravens do have the Playoff Flacco factor, but their receivers and defense are simply too inconsistent.Ravens are another high moxie team with a great defense and a QB who seems to play his best football near and in the playoffs
In what universe are they balanced? They are an incredibly one-dimensional team that can't run the ball or stop the run. They're the opposite of balanced. Oh, and they're another team with a long history of being owned by the Patriots in big games.Chargers are legit and not bad at all. Open your eyes and stop the Dean hate. Yeah, the move was stupid but that's a damn fine and balanced team.
The other "good" teams don't have much of a chance of beating the Patriots, and the rest of the playoff picture is currently filled with trash like the Chargers, Bills and ans. That's as close to a cakewalk as you can get. It's NOT at all like last year's AFC cakewalk that featured... Texans starting Assweiler... Raiders starting Connor Cook... ing Miami? Now THAT'S the definition of a cakewalk.
$2000 to everyone in this thread if the Cowturd-Eagles game ends in a 0-0 tie
CN, I acknowledged the Bills and ans are trash. Yes the Chargers suck at run offense and defense, but they're great at pass offense and defense and it's a passing league. Ravens don't have an inconsistent defense, at all.
my , your wisdom is needed in the thread I made in the Club
No idea either he’s still hurt or just done?
He's a kicker, so likely the latter as per NFL history
But could catch on with another team and get hot again, easily
Corey Coleman sucks. Browns in a nuts .
hawks getting owned so far - hopefully the Cardinals keep running up the score.
