Jokic is such a great MVP. Our role players just seem way better than theirs. Even Johnson outplayed Porter. But Jokic just turns the game around everytime he is on.
3 point shooting are turnovers for this club. Plain and simple.
I agree with this. Poeltl looked gassed right up to the point where Jokic made that contact and he slipped and dropped.

He's not used to be the focal point of offense. His defense suffered because of it tonight. He doesn't need to be the focal point. He's good for the hassle stuff and when he's feeling it, be aggressive. He hasn't had that game tonight and keeps calling his own number. Without a doubt fatigue is a factor, but he's just making such bad decisions for our main ball handler.
We went on the run when we took the ball out of his hands. Then he didn't give it up and the nuggets go on a run.
I didn't expect Poeltl to get roasted one-on-one in the post against Jokic, but props to the MVP for taking advantage of what turned out to be a mismatch.
Spurs are still in this. Need a couple more stops and make some buckets on this end.
