Thanks Chinook.
While I have mocked VanVleet to the Spurs in the mid 2nd round after trading down for two of the Celtics picks, I am crossing my fingers for getting VanVleet at #61.
IOW, signed for SL and camp invite as soon as #60 is announced if #29 isn't a PG.
VanVleet is Kevin Pelton's #1 NCAA stat pick, #3 overall. While Pelton didn't mock VanVleet in his Best Picks, Pelton has chatted that VanVleet is his biggest sleepr pick. Balanced; very good at rebounds, steals, avoiding fouls, assists, turnovers, FT shooting. VanVleet's defense IQ should be able to adapt to the system quickly. 5'11" is the negative, but out of college I like him much better than Joseph and think VanVleet is already better than McCallum. As a #15, VanVleet would be very serviceable when Parker sits, and would be a great facilitator in Austin.
