The NBA is a soap opera. Udoka was out of work like 5 minutes after banging multiple women inside the Celtics org, including a higher up’s wife. Primo will be back in the league in no time tbh.

Man, that's steep drop in job quality for Udoka. From the up-and-coming Celtics to the imploding Nets? Yikes.

Perfect team for Simmons, he's not even in top3 of their biggest issues.

It's a great job for him to reestablish himself: he needs to manage the internal turmoil and get the most of the talent he has. Getting them to the playoffs without everything blowing up would be a big win for him, plus it helps him leave the Boston situation in the past and ensures his financial future. Hopefully he doesn't meet them in the playoffs, but can't say it wouldn't be fun to watch

Perfect for Udoka too, for that same reason. Kyrie will hog all the bad press.

That'll sound good until Kyrie and/or Ben implode and the Nets get eliminated in the play-in game, tbh.

Nets have pretty good pieces, but their top players are headcases. A coach can somehow find the core there, but it could be hard.

Well, that's the challenge, yes. I didn't say it wasn't without risks, but if he can keep them in check for one season, that will do wonders to put the scandal behind him. I think he's got as good a chance as anyone of pulling that off. The bar is set much lower, everyone expects the Nets to blow up.

Lol, no. Jackson needed very specific kinds of players to run the triangle, a system he didn't even create himself.

What rules? I thought you dumb s were all about unen bered freedom. He can have as much consensual sex as he pleases. It’s not his responsibility to ensure women are faithful. Two adults can do as they please. Stop trying to dictate other peoples free will you stupid Nazi .

The celtics really ed this up by declining to tell us why he was suspended. Rules about sex with coworkers are pretty common and make sense. But they didnt fire him.

    What was her punishment?

I’m a lot more sympathetic in this situation. Yes, of course I think he shouldn’t have engaged a coworker. It’s just not a smart move but for this guy to be vilified and her to get off without consequence or any mention of responsibility is a bit disingenuous.

Let’s also not act like this kind of behavior isn’t basically the norm in professional sports. People and are unfaithful all the time.

I'm sure the Celtics will leak it a few months after he's in Brooklyn...
