I'm a year an half older than Lebron but graduated hschool in '01. I noticed during my senior year of highschool that's when the internet hype machine took off. There used to be a website way back in '00-'01 called NBAtalk.com that always had a bunch of rumors pertaining to the NBA and also when it came to high school prospects. Anyways I remember reading about them hyping up Lebron during my senior year of hschool. Lebron was a hschool sophmore back then but they were already declaring him NBA ready and that he would be a top 10 player if he could come out right at that moment as an hschool sophmore. I couldn't see any clips of him back then since youtube didn't exist but the stories started to get more and more traction after I graduated hschool and then peaked when ESPN started showing his games in '03. So if I look back Lebron was already anointed as this basketball savior at the age of 15 with the whole entire world in his hands. This guy for the last 21 years has been bombarded with attention and worship. That's all he knows which makes it hard for him to function as a normal person. He needs the attention and doesn't know how to live life without it.
I don't like him as a person but respect him as all time great.

Even the decision to start and play Boban has paid off. One can only imagine what could have been if Pop made that adjustment earlier in the OKC series in 2016.
Luka needs help out there to pull this off.

8pt Clipp lead might as well be 20, Mavs can't stop anything.
The Spurs' lineup is mediocre, not terrible. The Mavs without Luca are terrible.
I think Luka is the best player in the nba right now.
Imagine if the Mavs had a Sean Marks-caliber GM, or someone close. It'd be game over.
A couple of elite shooters and a couple 3 & D guys and Dallas is competing with anyone.
