But seriously, Game 6 against OKC was way gutsier and felt more important

I mean, this will all seem pointless once GSW beats us easily in 5

    Games 5 & 7 of 2005 finals
    2014 wcf game 6
Also, game 1 against GS in 2013 semis when the Spurs were thoroughly outplayed for 3 quarters, down 12 with 3:14 to play in the 4th, won it on a 3 by Ginobili at the buzzer in double OT. But again, he said in his lifetime so that could still be true. The inep ude down the stretch by both teams was mindboggling. This looked more like a Houston choke though the Spurs will gladly take it.

Those guys bailed them out big time -

Pau Gasoft was crap - he was supposed to set up a screen in the last regulation play and instead grabbed Capella's genitals

I got emotional when I realized that if Manu wouldn't have been so clutch tonight, it would have possibly been his last game in San Antonio... and I think he knew it.
This. It didn't hit me until I saw the whole team hugging him after the block.

In neither of those games we were as overmatched and outplayed as in this one, tbh.

Just think about it: We won the game with a 5'10" dwarf, a 40 year old and 2 D-leaguers.

We won this on pure will, effort and mental for ude.
    Or the Rockets' lack thereof.

Anyone celebrating this win is delusional. Tonight was about a few guys showing 'character' & playing the best they could. It was ugly basketball by two teams, neither of which is good enough to win 1 game in the next round. This was about who SUCKED LESS.
Yeah well, that's why I didn't say "best win of my lifetime". I said "gutsiest" becuase of all of what you said: it was ugly, it was ty, we had no business winning it, and it got done by a few guys showing "character" and playing the best they could.

If I had told you, before the series, that game 5 would came down to OT and the Spurs would be running with Mills, Manu, Green, Simmons and a giant pussy, you would have thought "we're ed".

    That is very accurate.

Even though in the NBA there's only the champion and everyone else, wins like this one and the emotions they bring are totally worth it even if they don't win the championship. It's about the journey, not just the destination.

    Never seen anything like it.

With our two best players out, Manu, Green, Patty and Simmons played their guts out to overcome the inside jobs of Oldpovich and Lapussy. You had me on the brink tears guys. Thank you.

Thought the same. It's at least up there, probably top 5.

I gladly accept I was wrong about this game.
