Hopefully it's true. I'm starting to get convinced that CoJo is the second best PG on this team.
At the very least, I'd like to see him given the chance to prove otherwise.
Per rotoworld report. I'm excited to see him with the first unit. Curious decision by Pop but at least he's givin CoJo a legit chance.

Yeah, I read that on the Spurs Nation site. It will be a good test for him to go up against Calderon. A solid, veteran PG who knows how to play the position.
Somewhat shocking tbh pop must really see something in him.
CoJo and baynes seemed to have solid chemistry in their limited time playing in the d-league. With Diaw out we might see some baynes in this one too
Looks like even Pop is starting to lose faith in De Colo. I hope CoJo doesn't foul out in the first half.
Doubtful. I would not read anything into this. Again, De Colo was given the starting job with TP out and did very well, then saw minimal playing time. The key is Neal - he appears to be in regardless.
I'm actually surprised at this. You would expect De Colo to start especially with players like Green and Splitter who don't rely a lot on iso.
I'll be impressed if he pulls it off tbh. For some reason Calderon seems to own rookie and second year point guards. Though if CoJo can just keep the offense going it'll be fine.
true..pop might just be trying to see what Joseph has got playing with the starting line up...
Our future pg
Sensational so far, the benefits of running the Spurs system up in Austin!
I wasn't convinced he should've started tonight, but he came out and played well. I was totally wrong about CoJo. He's playing pretty well.
I was a bit concerned about where Joseph was hiding during the first quarter when Tiago and Duncan where bringing the ball up.
His shot looks so much better.
Smothering D was what stood out. He also looked more comfortable in the flow of the O as the game went on.
Per par given your handle tbh.
He was effective without having to have the ball in his hands. That's what we need.
Especially since the ball will be in Tim/Manu's hands the most while TP's out.
8 points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3P, 1-1 FT), 4 assists, 2 steals, 1 turnover. All good.
Only 1 TO was key...and it was a miscommunication off a steal, so it can almost be forgiven.
THIS. and by "effective", we mean Defense. if we're going to beat elite teams, we'll need more defense, not hero chuckin ball stopping blow bying defenders
A PG rotation of Tony/CoJo would be above average on defense.
Glad to see him doing well, he kept at it.
I was impressed. Hopefully Pop will continue to start him.
