Fwiw, Luol Deng and Masai Ujirii has a close knit relationship.
I won’t be surprised if Ujiri accepts a package of Deng either Kuzma or Hart plus a future 1st.
I'd be floored. You're going to pay Deng just to land Kuzma?
NBA FA market doesn't work every offseason in the same way. There are players who got great deals in previous seasons that wouldn't get it in the same way this offseason. Who knows how good/bad the market will look next year.
I’ve seen stranger things in this league. You and I know it.
That guy is a moron. He is the one who assured us from his inside source that LeBron was opting in and the Lakers were going to trade Deng and crap for him even after I pointed out it would put the Cavs in the same kind of luxury tax the Thunder are in with Melo's deal.
LA still got LeBron - by hook or by crook. The semantics were wrong but Lakers adding superstars, Spurs losing them.
But you got reason to be mad. Ya'll done.
Enjoy the 6th seed, bum.
I never said you weren't getting LeBron, it was obvious he was out of Cleveland once he did that interview in the Finals where he said he'd have never done the Irving trade. I said you were an idiot thinking the Cavs would pay through the nose in luxury tax to take back Deng and one of your scrub young players vs just letting LeBron walk.
Yeah exactly why it's a gamble to keep Kawhi in Toronto and just hope for the best after he ditches them
Who cares?
We are done with him
Still I will have to support Kawhis team as long as we start cancerburger mills
Because Toronto TV market size is serious!
It's all of Canada. Which is still half the size of California. This country goes crazy when Raps make a run
Doesn't matter to Ujiri. He wants capspace. If Kawhi isn't staying, he will commence the rebuild.
Damn I mean who wouldn't want to play for that?
I mean besides Kawhi
Yes, kuzma is great, ujiri will not get something better in free agency...
Reading comprehension I said said top 10 US Market and Toronto is not a top 10 US Market since it's not in the US. Toronto's market size is huge but let's be real players don't want to go to Toronto due to the high taxes along with it being outside of the US.
Lol I thought you were being sarcastic when you said you agreed with me.
Taxes are not as big a factor as you think. If living and playing somewhere you want means you take home $19.7 million per year instead of $21.2 million per year, most players won't notice the hit.
Chump change
lakers also have rondo, kcp expiring contracts to work with...
I figured a 3 team deal a couple months ago tbh. Spurs cannot let it be known they colluded with the NBA to make the Lakers relevant again for profit sharing reasons.
6 year hiatus, bandwagon posting got
How did that Howard trade work out for ya?
typical Lakers troll/alt looking for moments, few and far in between
they've BEEN waiting..
